*Through Xander's Eyes*
Sage wanted to go running so I took her along a route that stopped by my favorite spots. It was a cold, sunny day and there was fresh snow on the ground. The field of birch trees looked particularly good and I watched as Sage smiled and laid on the ground to look up. That led to a very steamy makeout session that she suddenly pulled away from because she thought she heard footsteps.
At lunch Xara asked her if she wanted to meet her friends, and to my surprise Sage said yes. She came with us as I dropped Xara off at her friend’s house where they were all gathered. Sage had grown to like Xara, but a group of twelve year old girls was something else. Sage put on a brave face and let Xara drag her over to them.
