I stood frozen as she said those words, unable to get words out of my mouth, unable to protest about her love, well, she left me no room to speak.
She rose to her tiptoe and kissed me. I should push her away, I should say no, I should yell at her, but I couldn’t move, the touch of her lips on my felt like feathers to my skin.
