She was supposed to be hating him and wanting absolutely nothing to do with him. What was with the warm feeling that was bubbling in her heart now?
“What is wrong? Are you feeling unwell?” Ethan asked with concern when he saw that her face had turned pale.
“No, I am fine. It’s just… that I have woken up and my eyes are yet to adjust to the light.” Olivia found a random excuse.
“I want to rest, please. Can I have the room alone?” she inquired in a small voice. She did not dare look at the man for fear that he might notice her vulnerability.
“Okay. I will be going to work, but call me if you need anything. Don’t be shy.” Ethan spoke as he looked at the woman on the hospital bed.
