Fiancée? Ethan’s words shocked the people at the gala. Their gazes traveled between him and Olivia, wondering what was going on.

Jenny, who had just walked over, was stunned when she heard Ethan, and her face turned pale. Her heart felt as if it had been hit by thunder as the words reverberated in her ears. Anger boiled in her chest as she thought about the humiliation that Ethan had put her through in the bathroom, in order to defend that low-life b***h!

Without caring about her status as a socialite or Ethan’s status as a business mogul, Jenny stormed to the stage in anger. She forcefully took Ethan’s hand that was holding Olivia, breaking them apart and almost causing Olivia to fall from the impact.

Ethan quickly protected her by wrapping his arms around her shoulder, but Olivia roughly pushed him away. She was displeased at how this man would not waste an opportunity to take advantage of her, even in front of so many people.

“Ethan, what is the meaning of your words?” Jenny asked angrily. Her eyes were almost spitting fire, and her nose flared up as she looked at Ethan.

“What?” Ethan asked in a nonchalant expression, silently adjusting his sleeves. It was as if he could not feel Jenny’s anger.

“You have said that this woman is your fiancée? What does that make me, huh?” Jenny asked.

Her words caused another shock in the hall. The people below the stage started to murmur as they looked at the trio on the stage.

They have been hearing rumors that master Reid was engaged to the heiress of the Chad family, but no one has ever confirmed it. When they heard Ethan introduce the stranger woman as his fiancée, they were shocked, but now with this new twist, they felt as if their view of the world was changing.

As they looked between Olivia and Jenny, they wondered what had gotten into Ethan. Did he just abandon the heiress of Chad Group to be with a no-name that they have never heard of before?

When Jenny heard the people talking and speculating about the relationship between Ethan and her, she moved to Ethan and whispered in his ear, feeling as pleased as punch, “If I cannot be with you, then you can as well be with no one else. There is no way I will allow this b***h to take what is supposed to be mine!”

A pleased smile hung on her red, luscious lips as she looked at Ethan’s cold face. She was not fazed as she stepped back, ready to watch as Ethan groveled to her side to ask for forgiveness. She looked at Olivia with a taunting gaze, as if she was just a stray dog that was about to the thrown out.

Olivia looked at the woman and frowned. The shock of Ethan announcing she was his fiancée was still rolling out in her heart, and now with this woman’s words added to the mix, she did not know how to react.

When Ethan heard the increasing murmurs below the stage and everyone’s expression that said they could not wait to watch a good show, a frown appeared on his handsome face.

He was one of the richest men in the city, and he was also among the sought after bachelors. This party was organized by him, so how could he allow it to be ruined by someone whom he held no regard for?

A small, relaxed smile appeared on his passive face. Since Jenny wanted to stir up trouble and treat people to a good show, he was going to make sure that the show was so perfect that she would forever remember it.

Ethan waved his hand to instruct people to keep quiet. The smile on Jenny’s face grew wider when she saw Ethan’s action. She knew that no one would ever resist having a powerful connection. Just the benefit her family could bring Ethan benefits, there was no way he would not know what was good for him.

Everyone quietened down when they saw Ethan. Ethan looked at each one of them with his sharp, piercing eyes. The people who had wanted to enjoy the show lowered their heads in shame. They did not dare meet Ethan’s eyes, which could see through everything.

The hall was filled with pin-drop silence. No one dared breathe out loud as they waited for what was to unfold.

After making sure that he had gotten everyone’s attention, Ethan turned to look at the woman who was sulking and caught her small hand in his big, warm one. He held it tightly, refusing to let go. No matter how much Olivia struggled, Ethan did not let go.

He opened his mouth to explain what was going on under everyone’s watchful eyes.

“I am sorry if I have caused any misunderstanding. As I said, Olivia is my fiancée. As for Miss Chad, we were indeed engaged, but none of us was a willing party. It was something that was forced down our throats by the family elders, that is why it has never been made public.”

“I wonder why Miss Chad would try to cause a ruckus over something she knows is fake.”

“I don’t want to cause a misunderstanding with my fiancée. She is the only woman for me, and she is the only woman I will ever love in this lifetime.” Ethan declared. His voice was so serious, it was as if he was making an oath.

Olivia was shocked as she watched Ethan explain his relationship with Jenny, and so was everyone. They would never have imagined that the truth would be like that.

Who would have thought that Ethan was off the market? No wonder his interaction with other women has always been at arm's length. As it turned out, he was already engaged, and from his tone, the two were in love, and Ethan seemed to be smitten with the woman.

After he was done talking, Ethan looked at Olivia, a smile still hanging on his lips. Looking at the woman’s stunned face made her look cute, improving his mood to improve tremendously.

And then, without prior warning, Ethan caught Olivia’s lips and kissed her passionately. Those who had still been doubtful about their relationship had no choice but to admit defeat.

Jenny felt as if she had seen a ghost as she watched Ethan kiss the woman right in front of everyone. Although she was his ‘fiancée’, they had never even held hands.

But looking at the couple kissing without caring about anyone, she felt her world crumble before her eyes.

She could already feel the taunting gazes everyone was sending her, and she felt as if she had been sent to Antarctica. She felt so cold that her body had turned numb.

Olivia was kissed until she could not tell whether they were on a carousel or the world was spinning. Ethan only let her go after he felt that she was about to burst from anger.

He wiped his lips and chuckled, behaving as if it was only for him to kiss his fiancée in front of anyone.

As for Olivia, she could not describe what she was feeling now.
