"Thank you for joining us dear brother." Chad said with a warm smile to Leigh as soon as we were done eating.
"No problem." He replied curtly and turned to face me. "Come with me." He commanded.
"I am afraid she cannot do that as we already have plans." Chad intervened stepping in between Leigh and I. Leigh furrowed his brows as he glanced at Chad and back at me.
"I am afraid that plan would have to be postponed as I have work for her to do." He said unbothered by Chad's presence or intentions to not let me go anywhere with me.
"I am not aware of such works...."
