"What are you doing here?" Miss Eleanor asked with her eyes shifting from Leigh to me.
"Umm.. I.. actually," I tried to figure out the words to say but my mind was racing unstoppably in my chest.
"I was looking for you everywhere," Miss Eleanor said as she suddenly smiled brightly. I blinked confused at her. She walked towards us and linked her arms with Leigh's. "The servants said they saw you heading this way so I came to take a look." She smiled brightly but Leigh didn't say a word. He sighed and tried to untangle her grip on him but she held him in place.
"Iris dear," she said now looking at me and I froze before meeting her gaze. "Aren't you supposed to be in your quarters by this time? Or did Leigh have work for you to do?" She asked looking at me intently.
