Liam POV: Everyone was getting ready to shift into their wolves and run in the moonlight. The King would lead them with his son and his mate following. Then would my father and the pack. Tonight I was not going to celebrate the moon. I did what was expected of me and rejected her but the pain that pulsated through me was overwhelming. Even so, I smiled through it and made it so as if it wasn't a big deal but after I broke the bond, my wolf seemed to disappear. This time it wasn't my father poisoning me, I felt like my wolf abandoned me for good. I kept climbing the stairs to my room but found myself going to Amelia's room unconsciously.
