Chapter 7 ~ Isabelle ~

1462 Words
Looking at Nicolas, I wish I could talk to him, but there isn’t much privacy and I doubt I can say anything out loud about the supernatural community. Seeing as humans don’t know about them or at least I didn’t. I start to think of how I can word my question without much suspicion. ”Nic, I was hoping to ask you a question. Or maybe a few!” I ask him. He looks at me, then around at all the other waiting passengers. He looks back at me one last time and nods his head for me to continue. I whisper, “Our destination, is that where you are originally from?” ”No, I am originally from the Royal Pack, it’s called the Royal Lunar Pack.” He whispers back raising an eyebrow at me. ”Hmm.” I want to ask him more, but it seems when I ask a question the explanation may not be for the ears around us. I guess I’ll have to wait until we get somewhere more private. “I think I’m going to go and try to clean up in the bathroom before we board.” I point over to the first class lounge bathroom. ”Okay, just keep an eye out and be quick.” I nod and walk off towards the bathroom to wash up. Taking off the hoodie Nicolas gave me; I wash my hands, arms, and face. I try to get as much of the dirt as I can out of my hair, but it’s not much use. So, I put it up in a messy bun and clean up my mess around the sink. Once I’m done, I make it back just in time to hear it’s our turn to board our plane and see Nicolas waiting for me by our seats. ”Do you feel a little better? You look gorgeous.” He smiles at me and I blush looking away. Squeaking out a ‘thank you’ I hear him chuckle at me, as we make our way to board our flight. Once we are on the plane we get seated, with me sitting by the window, I let him know I’m going to try to get some rest. Luckily, I was able to get some peaceful sleep. Though, it started off restless and filled with nightmares of wolves chasing me and tearing me apart. It ended with a man kissing me and nibbling down my jaw line to my neck to my boobs. Teasing and biting my n*****s, making me moan. Licking down my stomach to my center. Whispering sweet nothings and how much he wanted to devour all of me. Biting my thighs, then soothing them with licks, then painfully slowly making his way to my core but never making it. I could have sworn I smelt fresh strawberry filled cheesecake, just out of the oven, but it was fleeting. Letting myself wake up gradually, I realize my head is resting on a shoulder and I may have drooled a little. I can also feel my panties are drenched. My cheeks turn crimson and I’m unsure if I should move my head. I hear a quiet masculine chuckle above my head. I sit up quickly, embarrassed and wiping my face. ”I’m so sorry. Oh, goodness. I’m so embarrassed. I didn’t mean to drool or sleep on you. I’m sorry for ruining your shirt. Are you ok? Do you need to rest?” I’m sure my face is as red as a lobster. I shift in my seat, hoping to not look too embarrassed. ”You’re completely fine, I didn’t mind and it’s just a shirt. I can wash it later. I’m good and no, I got a little shut eye, but I’ll rest more when I know you are in a safe place.” He says next to my ear giving me goosebumps. The captain lets us know we’ll be landing soon. Then, it’ll only be a 4 hour drive to the Red Moon Pack. I’m still tense over what happened; leaving the only home I’ve ever really known, being beaten with a whip then the mini bomb going off around me, meeting the Moon Goddess, being chased and hunted by wolves, and the nightmares I keep having. Here’s to hoping this town or pack or whatever you want to call it, is better than the last one. When the plane lands, we exit and go to get our luggage. Before I can ask if we are being picked up or renting a vehicle, Nic pulls me towards the parking lot. He has a similar Jeep here, that looks almost identical to one we left behind. Helping me into the passenger side, he does a quick run through. Making sure everything is good to go and nothing has been tampered with, before we take off out of the parking garage and down the road towards our destination. ”Are you hungry? We can stop and grab a quick bite to eat, if you are.” Nic asks me, hearing my tummy grumble. I blush, embarrassed, and nod, saying, “Yeah, if you don’t mind.” Why can’t I stop being embarrassed or blushing around him, ugh!? He smiles softly at me and I can see the mirth in his eyes as he tries to hold back his laughter. I inwardly roll my eyes, knowing this won’t be the last time I embarrass myself in front of him. Sighing, I shake my head at his antics. He lets a little laugh slip past his lips. I look at them, getting mesmerized by them. Dazedly I smile at him, getting lost in my fantasies of kissing those perfect lips. Before I realize it I start to lean towards him, completely missing what he’s saying. I jerk back when he touches my shoulder. Hearing him laugh at my expense, again, I fold my arms over my chest and ask what he said. When he finally calms down, taking a breath in and releasing it, I hear him softly say, “Little bird, you are so cute when you blush. I can’t wait to see your whole body blush.” I gasp and look over at him to see his eyes widened and his cheeks grow a dark crimson. I smile at him and blush even harder than before. Looking shyly down at my hands I'm unsure of what to say or how to act now. I hear him clear his throat trying to compose himself. ”My apologies, that slipped out unbidden but not untrue. There’s a diner about thirty minutes away, we can stop there. If that’s ok, they have delicious burgers and fries. We can also get some shakes, if you like?” He smiles softly at me. ”That sounds perfect, thank you. I’ve never ate at a diner before. I have made burgers and fries before, for the family that adopted me. They sound delicious if your mouth is already watering from the thought of them.” I laugh a little at the drool coming out of the side of his mouth. He snaps his mouth shut, wiping the excess drool off his chin. I can’t stop laughing. He reaches a hand over and starts tickling my side, making me laugh more out of control. I’m trying to say mercy through my gasp and fits of laughter but I can barely catch my breath. When he finally starts and I can calm down enough, I look over to see him smiling broadly. I shake my head at his overenthusiasm. ”You big goofball. Your so silly.” ”Why thank ya, thank ya very much!” He tries to impersonate Elvis Presley, he got close but his voice is a little to deep to pull it off fully. I shake my head at his tactics, as he pulls into the parking lot of the diner. Thankfully, we arrive after the lunch crowd and it’s not too busy only some stragglers left. Our waitress Maria sits us at a booth, as I continue to stare around in awe. It’s looks like a big open dining room with lots of tables and seats strategically placed all over the room and booths lining the walls. There’s a bar top in the middle with doors leading to the kitchen and I can see the cooks through a small open window with a metallic surface as they set plates of food on it. There’s little machines behind the bar, for coffee and other things. The floor is checkered like a chess board and the walls are an off white with old time pictures hanging above every booth. You can smell the grease from the food cooking as well.
