The drive only lasted about 45 minutes or so but I swear we drove around in circles. We stopped at this small cottage. It was all lit up with fairy lights and flowers. The lights lined the fence going towards the back of the cottage. LeLand was first out of the car. He came around my side of the car and opened my door.
“Where are we?”
“You’ll see princess.”
He led me down the side of the cottage into the back yard. In the back there was a walkway that was also lit with fairy lights that lead further into the property. We got about 20 feet on to the path when we stopped.
“Princess, I need to cover your eyes.”
“Aww really?”
“Yes ma’am”
“Alright then.”
He took out a scarf and wrapped it around my eyes and tied it behind my head. He held up fingers, asking me how many there were
