Today is a bitter sweet kind of day. The doctors have finally cleared LeLand to come home. He is still on a lot of restrictions because of his injuries. so he had to be super careful. he had over 400 stitches inside and out and he is on some heavy pain meds. During his induced coma we found out that his right leg was broken. They had to put pins in his leg to hold the bones together. the doctor said that he will need this cast on for about 2 weeks or so. it's to protect the incision sites where they put the pins in as well as keep his in leg straight for the 2 weeks. Thank Goddess it's only for about 2 weeks because about a week after the cast comes off and the pins come out, we will be getting ready to have our pups.
We have been waiting for them for what seems like forever.
