The Hidden White Wolf

I can hear birds chirping. I look over at my clock and its only 5:30 AM. I try to get up but cant. I Turn my head and see that LeLand has his leg and arm over my body. I nudge him

 "Babe?" No answer

 "Babe?" 

"I have to pee"

He untangles himself from me. I slid out of bed, realizing just how sore I was from last night. When I get in the bathroom I flip the light on so I can admire my new mark. I rub my fingers over top of it. The mark is almost healed and flush against my skin. All this soreness is worth it all. I love the way this mark looks. I also love the fact that this makes me officially mated to such an amazing man. 

After I finish in the bathroom I see LeLand is still sleeping, and since its still really early, I decide to sit in the chair by the window. I need to start planning out today. We are supposed to find out if Dominique is still living at the Silver Sands Pack.  If she is we will have to travel there to talk with her regarding Alex. I can feel my self dozing off sitting here. I stumble back over to the bed to lay down for a bit. As soon as my head hit the pillow I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer.

As soon as I closed my eyes, I saw the bright light again. I know exactly what that meant. Moon Goddess. In my sleep state I start going toward this light like i did last time. And just like last time as I get closer to the light it is so bright that I have to close my eyes. As soon as I do this I pass the light and I can feel the same soft grass that I felt that first time I met mother Selene. This time I dont wait for her to tell me to open my eyes. As soon as I do I notice that I am alone. Mother Selene isn't where she was the first time. I start to walk around, and I walk up to the tree with the white flowers. I take a few of the flowers that have fallen to the ground and I smell them. I cant believe they smell just like honey! Touching the bark on the tree was nothing like I expected. the bark on this tree is soft and smooth! Its nothing like I have ever felt before. This is such a magical place, I love it here. 

There's a noise, I start looking around to see if I can see Mother Selene. It's not her but off in the distance I see a white animal. we lock eyes and it takes off running towards me. I am frozen in shock. What the hell is going on! Before I can even turn around and attempt to run, I am knocked on my ass. I realize this animal is a wolf! A white wolf with the most beautiful Purple eyes... I know everything about them are rare, and I am a white wolf.... Ruby? I ask. The wolf shakes her head yes.

She sits up and starts to wag her tail. Knowing its her I sit up and wrap my arms around her. Its not every day that we can physically touch our wolves. This was amazing. After a few minutes Ruby gets up and nudges me. Do you want me to follow you? Again she nods. Okay then lets go! After following Ruby for a bit we come up to a blanket in the grass. She goes over and sits on the blanket. I think she wants me to sit on the blanket. So that is just what i do. i feel a small breeze and then Mother Selene appears. 

"Hello dear"

"Hello Mother Selene, What brings me here this time?"

"We called you here regarding Dominique. I know today Alex will be questioned and you would be traveling to  to Silver Sands."

"Yes Ma'am that is the plan."

"Well child there something you need to know, Alex and Dominique are one in the same."

I look at her like she has just gown 3 heads

"What are you talking about?"

 "Do you remember the watchers we spoke about last time?"

"Yes"

"Well She was one of them."

"Alex or Dominique?"

"Both, let me explain, Alex  was her persona when she fell for LeLand. That's why he never went to her pack."

"I see"

"Then when your grandfather was looking for volunteers to watch you and your brother to see which one would be the white wolf she was first in line to do so. The night of your party when she saw your wolf and LeLand found out you were his mate it almost spoiled her plan."

"How?"

"She needed him as an excuse to be there. Because he was invited from his pack to be at the party and she was invited by him. So when he told her he didn't want to be with her any more it messed her up. With out being his date to this event she was to leave. But because that was her job, that is what she was sent there to do she couldn't just leave. The 2nd time that she approached him when you were with him, is when it was confirmed that you were not going to give him up, and he wasn't going to give you up either. She needed to do something, and that was when she decided to go after your brother."

"But when we got Rob and Alex apart Rob found out that Melissa was his mate the magic she put on him seemed to stop working."

"That one is simple, that is because nothing can stop true mates."

"Okay so now i know that Alex and Dominique are the same person. What do I do?"

"First things first  you need to go tell your parents what you just found out. And you are going to want to have you aunt and uncle there as well. Also for now stay away form Silver Sands Pack. Your grandfather is there and wants a war. Alex is going between packs to give him info. He is going to expect her to go there and give him more info today."

"Alright, so what do we do with her?"

"Well you need to let go to him. If you dont let her go he'll send warriors to get her out and take you. We cant let him know anything more then what she is going to tell him. And because she doesn't know that you know who she really is, you might still be able to go talk to her as Alex"

"Thank you Mother Selene."

"One more thing child, you need to know about your power."

"Power?"

"Yes dear, as a white wolf you have the power of sight. you can briefly see the future."

"How do I use it?"

"Ruby can help with that, i figured this will aid you in your future."

"Thank you Mother Selene, will I see you again?"

"Soon child, now go back LeLand is starting to wake up."

I walked back the way i came with Ruby by my side. when i say the light she stopped.

"Are you coming?

she shook her head no. I nodded an closed my eyes as I walked into the light. when I opened my eyes I was back in bed with LeLand. She was starting to wake up, now I need to figure out how to tell him what I was just told. Before I do I link my father.

"Dad are you up?"

"Yes Ava-Marie, are you alright? "

"Yes dad I'm fine but we need to talk."

"You got it kid. Meet me in the kitchen in 15?"

"Sure dad"

I turned to look at LeLand, he was so peaceful. I snuggled up to him knowing he was half awake.

"Good morning princess."

"Morning babe. How did you sleep?"

"Alright I guess"

"Why I guess?"

"Well everything was perfect last night, but this morning I saw Mother Selene again and this time she told me some things that still have my head spinning. I have to talk to my parents, aunt and uncle but I also am going to need you there to."

"Okay princess, anything for you, how much time do we have until we have to go meet with everyone?"

"About 15"

"No worries, that plenty of time. Lets go get ready babe. I also have something that i want to talk to your father about. and if all goes well ill have a surprise for you tonight."

" Really? babe you dont have to do that."

"I told you I am going to treat you like my queen because that is what you are and I love you."

OH MY GODDESS did he just say what I think he did... Last night he must have not been half asleep and really meant what he said. 

"I love you to Le"

I couldn't help but smile. This guy really did light up my life. Not that there was anything wrong with the live I lived before us. But with him in it just makes it..... Perfect.

By the time we have reached the bottom of the stairs, I can already hear my father and uncle talking. 

"Good morning dad, Uncle Brian."

"Good morning sweet heart" my father said

"Morning Kiddo, sleep well?" my uncle said

"I did thanks"

"And you LeLand, sleep well?" my uncle asked him

"Yes sir thank you"

"Good"

"Dad wheres mom and Aunt Rose?"

"They'll be down in just a minute"

The twins must have already been down here because breakfast is already made and laid out buffet style and they are no where to be seen. I grab my self a plate

"Le are you hungry?"

"Yes love famished"

He slowly approaches me, as he takes the plate that im handing him away from me he links

"But not for food.."

I dropped the plate I was holding for my self, thankfully he caught it before it fell on the ground and broke everywhere. I was blushing from ear to ear. he had a huge smile plastered all over his face as he turned to go over to the food to fill his plate. 

I stood there for a minute longer so that when I did turn around it wasn't so obvious how red my face was. I put some food on my plate and sat down at the table by LeLand. I take my first bit of food and its still warm, this is just what I needed. I can hear that my mother and aunt are on their way down stairs. They are always wearing heals and I dont get it. Those things hurt so bad! Mom is always saying beauty is pain. But not for me, I'd rather be comfy.

My mother an Aunt grab themselves some coffee. They say their good mornings and get settled at the table. Now I know its business time. 

"Whats brings us together this morning my dear" my mother is the first to talk

"I saw the Moon Goddess again this morning"

"You did! how exciting" my aunt said

"Yes but the info i was given wasn't all butterfly's and rainbows."

My father puts his head in his hands and shakes his head.

"Dear what did she tell you?" My uncle said

"Well lets start from the beginning, Alex and Dominique are one in the same."

Leland damn near choked on his breakfast. 

"What did you say?"

"I'm sorry Le that you have to find out this way, But Moon Goddess told me that Dominique used the persona of Alex when she met you. She loved you and knew her being a witch would be a game changer for you so she lied."

"So the person i was dating for over a year was really a witch?!"

"Yes Le and i am so sorry."

"No, Don't be sorry, its fine."

But I can see in his face that he was far from fine, but I figured we'd talked about it later when no one is around.

"So Ava-Marie you are saying that we've had the witch we were looking for in the dungeons this whole time?"

My father asked, but I can tell he was pissed off about it. 

"Yes dad, But that isn't all, to make a long story short, your father was looking for volunteers to be watchers to watch me. She was one of the few to volunteer. She loved LeLand and knew if she brought him to her Pack that he would figure it out and leave. That is why she moved in with him. Then when she was called to watch me at my shifting ceremony. She had the perfect cover with LeLand because he was invited and brought her as a plus one. She had front row seats to keep a eye on me, but when he realized I was his mate, that changed the whole game. At that point she had no reason to stay so she had to think of something in order to keep an eye on me. So she cast a spell on Rob. That way she can get even closer."

"What else did she say?" My Uncle asked

"She said that she doesn't know what we know who she really is. And we shouldn't tell her. She has to report every few days to my grandfather about what is going on here, she thinks that if we let Alex know that we know that shell go back to him and he will send other watchers or even speed up what ever plan that he has. That is something that we are not ready for."

"Okay so what is our next move?" my mother inquired

"Well im not sure what our next move is. i think that me and LeLand should go talk to her and see what info she gives up willingly."

"Yeah that's a good idea" LeLand expressed but i can see on his face that he isn't happy about all of this. 

"New game plan, we send Ava-Marie and LeLand down to talk to Alex, I have a Warlock that is a good friend of mine, his name is Caleb. He might have some information about this as well. Ill give all of us 4 hours to get the info we can, and then we will meet in Alpha Brians office."

"Sounds good dad."

"Ramiro what do you think is going to happen when your father finds out all this?" my mother says with worry on her face

"I dont know dear, but we need to get ready for anything."

"I will double up on security while you are staying here. I will put guards all around the pack to make sure that nothing comes in or out without approval." Uncle Brian said

"Thank you, I will also have my guards at every entrance way in this house. even standing guard at the bedrooms to insure everyone's safety during the night. And I will see what Caleb can do to help with that to" My father added

"Thank you all for everything" my mother spoke

Now its me and LeLands turn, we have to go speak to Alex. I have no idea what i have to say to her. I know that I'm going to have to play nice with her. We can't give to much away to her or were going to spoil our own plans. I take LeLands hand and walk him outside. We sit in the lounge chairs by the pool. 

"Le? are you okay?"

"No I'm not"

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"How could I have been so dumb?! If I had just waiting for you like i intended instead of starting a relationship with her, all this would have never happened."

"Le, dont be hard on yourself, 1: its not like you knew any of this ahead of time, 2: Even if you didn't love her like you love me you still had feelings for her and 3: believe it or not but this would have happened with our with out you being with her. My grandfather has been watching me for some time now."

"You dont blame me?"

"No there isn't a reason to"

I got up and walked over to the lounge chair that he was on, I sat on his lap and wrapped my arms around him. I could feel the sadness coming off of him in waves. He truly believes that this is his fault!

"Baby I love you and I don't blame you, and you shouldn't blame yourself either. ITS NOT YOUR FAULT!!"

"I know princess, but if something happens to you.."

"If something happens to me we will take care of it. Please stop worrying"

"I'll try"

"Thank you Le that is all I ask" I gave him a kiss on the cheek and hugged him.

"LeLand were are going to go and see here and you are going to start if off by telling her your sorry again and all that good stuff like you did the night you found out I was your mate. We need her to still think that we have no idea, because if she even suspects that we know, all bets are off. I don't want her to go to my grandfather and this become worse then what it needs to be. I want us to have the upper hand."

"No problem princess, what are you going to say?"

"Honestly I dont know yet, I know I have to be careful. Because Ruby is so close with Mother Selene I might ask her if she can help me with this."

"That might be a good idea"

"I think so to"

We sit together a bit longer before we get up and go on our way to the dungeons.

The walk to Alex was silent. I know LeLand still has a lot on his mind. I'm not going to pressure him to say anything to me. I know that if he wants to talk he will. Right now he needs to be in his thoughts. 

"Le I know this isn't going to be easy, but know if you want to talk im here."

"I know princess thank you" 

"We are also going to see what Caleb has to say about this, he might have something that can really help us here."

"I hope so"

"Me to"

We get to the dungeon doors and there are 2 guards standing watch. 

"We're here to see Alex?" I say to them

They both just look at me and then step aside for us to go in. When we walk in I can smell old blood, there is also a faint smell that can only be described as death." As we get further in the door there are 2 more guards standing on the inside of the door. I turn to the guard on my left 

"Do you know which cell is Alex's? We need to speak to her?"

"All the way down the hall to the left"

That was all we got from him. so I grabbed LeLands hand and continued inward. We got down the hall and went left to her cell. When we got to her cell we see that she is chained by the wrists standing up. Her head was down so we couldn't see her face very well. LeLand was the first of us to say anything.

"Alex?"

No response

"Alex? its me LeLand, I want to talk to you."

All of a sudden she popped her head up. I dont think that she was sleeping, I wanted to know how she is able to talk to my grandfather. 

"Dad?" I link

"Yes"

"I need you to find out how she is able to communicate with you father? When we got here it took LeLand twice to call out to her before she heard us. "

"You got it, I'll let you know when I do."

"Thanks" and I end the link.

"Alex I want to talk to you, Will you talk with me?"

"Not if that mate of yours is around."

"Princess can he and I have a moment?"

"Sure Le"

I walk away only a few cells down from where LeLand was standing. I can still hear what is being said but she cant see me. 

"Alex I'm sorry"

"If you were sorry I wouldn't be in here."

"My mate is out there right now so upset that I am here and I wasn't even given a reason for this!"

"Whether he is upset or not isn't the issue right now. You are in here because you went from dating me to being Robs mate, the next Luna and Ava-Marie had every right to question your motives."

"Listen just because she is stuck in a Beta relationship and I'm the next Luna isn't my problem its hers. So she gets her panties in a bunch and I get punished? That hardly seems fair, dont you think?"

"I can here to tell you I'm sorry for any hurt that I caused you when I found my mate. It wasn't like.."

"Oh ha ha ha ha ha ha! You think I'm upset that you and I.. HA HA HA HA HA I'm going to be LUNA! What you and I had never meant anything! You showed me that! You know what your right! Being Luna is better than any beta relationship!"

"Wow Alex! This isn't you, this isn't the Alex i knew"

"Well i guess there are things we dont know about each other then isn't there?"

"I guess so..."

"Is there anything else you would like to say LeLand? If not please leave, tell my mate I love him!"

"Good bye Alex"

With out another word LeLand walks away, he looks so defeated but I know that its my turn and I need to get her to talk. We change spots and I head towards Alex's cell. Before she can see me I can hear her whispering.

"Alpha I know how we can get your little white wolf to you! i will lure her mate with me to our pack. And when she cant find him she will come looking for him. I can have him there in 3 days time."

I let Ruby take over so that she can talk to Alex. 

"Alex" Ruby says out loud. 

"I need to apologize to you. I am truly sorry that you are here. You are the future Luna. I only had you locked in here because i thought you were playing my brother to get back at LeLand. But i see now that i was wrong. I will speak to my father and see if we cant get you out of her by tonight. I know you hate me.."

"I never said that i hated you, I dislike you very much, Hate is such a strong word."

"That it is. But I will talk with my dad."

"Thank you for that. And as your future Luna i shall take pity on you and this decision."

"I appreciate that."

"You better because it is the only time this is going to happen."

As I turn back around Ruby gives me back full control. I really can't believe this little b***h! Does she really believe that this whole game is going to go far enough to give her the Luna title?

As i approach LeLand I reach out for his hand and him and I walk with our fingers interlocked out of the dungeons. 

"Well that was a bit of a s**t show" LeLand says

"Yeah, I'm glad I let Ruby take over. I would not have been able to hold my tongue the way she did."

"Now what princess?"

"We have a little bit of time. I think we can go get showered and dress and then meet everyone in Alphas office."

"A shower sounds good"

"That it does babe"

We make our way back to the pack house. I decide that what he needs is a bath. As we make our way upstairs and to our room I have come up with the whole plan to make him feel better. 

When we get into the room I leave him to get his clothes and I go into the bathroom. I start to run the bath and add some of my body wash to it to make bubbles. I add some candles and make sure his and my towel is there. Once im finished i come out of the bathroom and he is sitting on the bed. 

"Babe?"

"Yes princess"

"Come here i have something for you."

He gets up, I can see on his face that he is blaming himself for all of this. When he gets close enough to me I take his face in my hands and leave him small kisses all over his face. 

"I love you babe and this isn't your fault."  He just sighs and gives me such a fake smile. 

I lead him into the bathroom and I undress him. No funny business right now. I just want to take care of him and make him feel a little better. After were both undressed I take his hand and lead us to the tub. I get in first and motion for him to get in, in front of me. He does, and as he slides down into the hot water he sighs but this time of relief. I grab my Loofah and add some of my body wash on it. i slowly start to wash his neck and back, then he leans back against my body and i start to wash his chest. 

"princess you are amazing. Thank you so much for all of this. It really is making me feel better."

"Baby i hate seeing you like this. i know you blame yourself but please dont. you didn't know any of this was going to happen and you sure didn't plan it. you couldn't have known."

"I know but you are just so important to me. And if anything ever happened.."

"Nothing is going to happen to me. I have you, My father and brothers. I will be fine."

"I know"

"Good now relax, we have a while before we have to go see my parents again."

"You got it boss"

we both chuckle. After I washed him off we pulled the plug on the tub and put the shower on. I wash off while he finish's. When we get out We get dressed and put the TV on and snuggle up on the bed and watch one of my favorite Disney movies The Little Mermaid. 

"Hey Ruby?'

"Hey Ava-Marie whats up?"

"Thank you for everything."

"Your welcome"

Laying with my head on LeLands chest i can hear his heart beat. Its steady and strong. And i love that it loves me completely. I'm getting nervous because the new plan is going to have Rob pretending while Melissa is watching. I know it is going to hurt her, but we need it to be this way so we can stop what ever plan my grandfather has in place. I just hope she wont hate me for it. We will also need Shawn to pretend to be Melissa mate and i dont know how my brother is going to handle that. This is all going to be what is best for our packs. My favorite part of the movie is coming up. When she saves Eric from drowning, and she sings to him before he wakes up. 

I can hear light snoring. I look up and see that LeLand has fallen asleep. I look at the clock we still have about a hour and a half before we need to head to the alphas office. I decide to let him sleep while I finish my movie.
