James was frustrated beyond reason. Just when everything seemed to be going smoothly, new wrenches were thrown into the works. At least he and Elizabeth were bonded now. James spared a glance at the white wolf running to the left of him. She would run there forever, now. Her place would forever be as the Luna. She didn't have her memories of him back yet. James had hoped that the bonding would trigger something, but he hadn't hinged all of his hopes on that. He'd thought just being back in the cabin together might also do the trick, but it hadn't.
