ᴥ︎︎︎ CHAPTER 12: Team Building Day 1 ᴥ︎︎︎

Today is our departure to San Fernando Villa where the team building will take place.

Jet and I should be sitted together yet Louisse abruptedly stole Jet's chair and who's now sitting comfortably beside me and she just flashed me a knowing look and backed out heading to her boyfriend to sit with which was on the two seat next to us and she just shrugged it off. She didn't even helped me, oh man. Very supportive ain't eh? Louisse was just all smiles whilst looking at me which I just flashed him a bored look face. Her bros on the back were very much supportive at him which got me irritated, I don't have any time playing with him and so I looked outside not bothering his silly presence beside me.

We'll be traveling for many hours so I couldn't contain myself to lean over my hand where my elbow is resting on the window and closed my eyes, taking a short nap.

I fell asleep in his shoulders little did I know, as I woke up my colleagues are already packing out their bags and Louisse didn't even do a thing to wake me up, geez silly. He really wanted to have a time with me eh? Pfft.

"What are you doing? Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked a little bit frustrated.

"Cause I've seen that your still tired, might as well have a few more rest. It's okay, I won't bother milady." He said apologetically which I just rolled my eyes at him.

And so I stood up and fetch my sports bag, I only packed few for we aren't be staying too long here. And for a minute longer, he stood up after and fetch his stuffs too.

We walked out from the bus and I could feel the cold ocean breeze romancing me to come over and explore her more. Wow, the view is just so... fascinating. Let me tell you honestly, I've never been to any beach before...not until now. That's just how strict they were that they even wouldn't let me to have fun, I just enjoyed myself with some school activities stuffs 'cause that's the only thing I could have a valid reason to do what I wanted. Hayst.

It's 3pm when we got here and it's still sunny as summer could do. I walked over where Jet is at as we're gathered outside the bus in the front yard of the Villa.

"He's getting more serious now Ev, watch it." She said teasingly as soon as I halted in front of her.

"I'm afraid I won't get to enjoy this team building either." I reprimanded as flip my hair to the back exposing my colar bones as I was wearing a yellow sunny dress with a thin strap and crossed my arms whilst focusing on the front where Mrs. Heatherson's at.

"Kiddos, since we arrived later than expected we'll just take a small orientation in their orientation hall and after, you'll go to your respective rooms to prepare for your activity later at night. Let us all proceed to the hall now." Mrs. Heatherson announced unto us.

So, we, as an obedient students followed her to the said hall. While walking, I could feel Louisse' presence behind me, not again.

"Hide that milady, you're just teasing me." He whispered behind me as he was pertaining to my neckline. Pftt.

"You don't have the balls, Mr." I whispered back barely looking at him on the side. I smirked in triumph.

For an hour of orientation, finally we're now heading to our rooms and I could rest my back in a more comfortable position. We're 60 in the first batch and there is just 10 rooms in this villa and that means we're 6 in each rooms. Of course mens are separated to the womens and the facilitator and the officials including Mrs. Heatherson are on the main building.

The rooms of the boys are on the left side while us girls are on the right side. The rooms here are like a small houses but just composed of a bedroom and comfort room, we still need to go to the main building for activities and foods.

Unfortunately, me and Louisse' rooms are facing at each other. Guess fate really loves us. So that only means that I will get to see his face more often now. I'll just gonna bare with it. Sighs.

Now he's ugly face is glancing at me and waves his hands teasingly which I just ignored to and head inside our room again, Jet is with me thankfully.

The room was very relaxing and neat with woody structures, suiting the beachy vibes. The beds are a double deckers and on which I gladly chose the lower part of the bed which is on the spot on the corner and Jet took the upper part.

I layed on it with much of comfort as I just realized I got tired for that much of walking and touring this whole villa.

"Is this the start of the Evoisse loveteam?" She said shuddering with all smiles. Ridiculous.

"Nah... not gonna happen." I replied with my eyes shut.

"We never know sweetie, you don't decide but fate it is." She said still teasing and went to arrange her stuffs. I hope fate will take a big side step tho.

Night cames, we finished dinner already and we went outside to the beach revolving around the campfire in front of us.

The facilitators, Sam and Hannah lead us to a music session where all of us are jamming to the beat and shared our thoughts regarding to our insights about what's our expectations and what could be the results of this team building afterwards.

"We will learn strengths, weaknesses, capabilities and fears, with these learnings contributing to a deeper relationship and trust amongst team members." I just said straightforwardly.

"Of course, to gain closeness to my mates and most specially to a certain person I'm into at the moment." Louisse said proudly with all smiles gazing at me as everyone rooted for him.

"The same with Louisse, I can have stronger bond with everyone and most especially to my beloved here." Jet said with a cute shudder. Flirty dogs and cats.

"Of course, I'm planning to establish relationship to everyone and to someone too but not until someone took that opportunity away from me." Jay said still sulking.

"Trust. Through the tasks and exercises in a team building program, we colleagues will learn more about each other." Johnson said sincerely which lead everyone to all smiles.

After the jam and a little bit of sharing, we retreated back to our respective rooms and call it a night but not until Louisse grabbed me secretly, sneaking out to where the oceans is.

"What are you doing?" I asked dumbfounded.

"What do you think?" He responded with a knowing look.

"I think you're stupid." I said with an impassive look as I focused my gaze unto the oceans.

"If stupid means to be with you then so be it." He just shrugged it off not bothering my remark which I just hissed afterwards.

No one dared to speak and just let the ocean breeze left music to our ears and the beautiful scenery being glorious into our sight.

Few minutes later, Louisse held his hands on me which I can't do anything but to accept it and leads me back to our rooms.

I let go of his hands as I still realized that we're holding hands for a couple of minutes as we stood up at the pathway in the middle of our rooms.

"I...I... should go now."I said awkwardly as I took a step heading to my room's door as he just scratch the back of his neck realizing the awkward situation too.

"Don't take this as a joke Evoughny, I'm very much serious with you." He said sincerely as I still didn't look back to him.

"Ignore me all you want but don't expect me to do the same thing." He said seriously from behind as I walked back to my room and sighed in relief as I went inside.
