The fact that Angelo was trying to push Karen into my arms largely diminished my sense of guilty for the events of last night but I still had the impression that I was being played by more than one side. Had I become a victim of manipulation by those around me or was it merely one of the prerequisites of getting laid?

One thing was certain. As long as I could get what I was after, I was going to keep on playing the same game. I did not care what Karen or Paula did with their free time as long as they gave it to me.

“Do you wanna hear something crazy?” said Angelo.

“Go ahead,” I said.

“But you can’t tell anyone. Especially Paula.”

“Okay.”

“Our aunt has a situation going on with Luigi. They slept together last night. You won’t believe how loud she was moaning.”
