At Fisher Group, Calvin wrapped up his report and said, "Mr. Fisher, I'll head out unless there's something else you need."
"Just a moment." Scott halted him, taking a few seconds before looking up to ask casually, "Has Briana moved in yet?"
"Not yet..."
Scott dropped his pen, his irritation palpable. "What's she doing?"
"Mrs. Fisher was at the San Francisco prison this morning to collect her father's ashes and spent the afternoon at the cemetery. She should be on her way back by now," Calvin explained.
Hearing this, Scott merely let out a slight snort, adding nothing further but dismissed him with, "You can go."
In Scott's mind, Briana, that callous woman, was squandering her emotions on something utterly worthless.
