The person most thrilled about Briana's return was undoubtedly Kaylee.
Once Briana wrapped up her briefing and stepped out of Elian's office, Kaylee wasted no time pulling her into her own. "Briana, when did you get back? Why didn't you give me a heads-up?"
"Just got back the day before yesterday," Briana revealed. "Kaylee, Jarvin has passed away."
Briana succinctly filled her in on the entire ordeal, including the discovery of some old photos in Jarvin's belongings.
Kaylee sighed in relief upon hearing it all. "Honestly, I'm not even shocked. Jarvin never really fit the bill of a dad, you know!"
So, Kaylee pressed on. "What's your next move? Planning to track down your real dad?"
Briana shook her head dismissively. "No, I'd rather not."
