Briana had been house hunting for days and finally found a suitable apartment. However, the landlord insisted on signing the lease the next day, leaving her with another night in a hotel.
Returning to Kaylee's place to pack her things, Briana was met with Kaylee's reluctance.
"Briana, why don't you stay here? We have spare rooms, and Leon doesn't mind," Kaylee suggested, pulling at Briana's suitcase.
Briana chuckled. "What are you thinking? You two lovebirds need your space. I'd just be a third wheel."
"But you're alone and pregnant..." Kaylee trailed off.
"Don't worry. I have Caleb. Everything will be fine," Briana assured her.
Seeing Briana's resolve, Kaylee sighed. "Let me at least take you to the hotel. It's hard to carry all that luggage alone."
Briana nodded in agreement.
