Chapter 18

Laura P.O.V

"Guards, unchain her," Vhadmir said. The guards obeyed. They got out of chains of keys to unlock the chains as they fell to the ground. I wanted to bolt out of the room, but I wouldn't risk it. I don't want to be caught again and put myself in more greater danger. Moreover, I don't want to put my family in danger because of me. I am not scared of death, but the fear of my family being caught is scaring me to death.

"Laura, can you walk with me?"

"How would you know if I wanted to run away from you?"

"I know you wouldn't."

"How are you so sure?"

"I know you, Laura, the bearer of Alyssa." There goes again something is screaming inside of me. I was scared and the fear seems to be coming from him, but I know it isn't just me who is scared, but, Alyssa as well.

"Is Alyssa scared of you?" I questioned.

"I suppose you could say that. I hold the underworld king within me. Don't you think that is scary?"

I nodded my head in agreement. "I guess so."

"Please. Walk with me," he gestured. I got up from the ground and walked towards him. He smiled which sends me chills. I felt being controlled which I hated. I never felt so timid.

"Where are we going?" I questioned.

"To my bedroom, of course."

I got scared, but I didn't ask why. I followed behind him. He offered me a sit on the bed upon reaching his bedroom. I did as he told me. I had never been this obedient not even to my parents. He took my blonde hair and took it close to his nose. He inhaled it’s fragrance. "You look beautiful as always," he whispered into my ears his breath was so close to the neck. I could feel him breathing. I shivered.

"I am not Alyssa."

"Not yet," he whispered. He took my hair and dropped it. He came so close to me. I was scared my eyes were wide open. He kissed me but I squished my lips tight together and pushed him hard away.

He winced and looked at me, and this time his looks were different and I realized Vhadmir wasn't a bad king, but this guy standing in front of me. Vhadmir completely changed into a different guy, though I could still feel him somewhere inside there. This guy in front of me, he had silver hair and one red eye the other still held the emerald green eye.

"You've become naughty, Alyssa. Don't forget I'm far stronger and powerful than you. I can control the dark at my will and the dead. Remember our promise, Alyssa. You get your revenge for your beloved, Daniel, and control the dark, in return you become my wife, my queen."

What was this guy talking about? What promises did Alyssa make with him? I was scared. There are so many mysteries in Alyssa life.

"Don't tell you've forgotten, Alyssa?"

"I- I am- n- not her," I trembled.

"But you are. should I make you remember." He leaned in to kiss me but I turned away breathing heavily. He got angry.

"You dare move away from me," he said in anger.

"N-no," I hesitated.

"What did you say I didn't hear you?"

"I'm sorry," I turned to look at him.

"Good," he grinned. He kissed me and I didn't dare to make him mad so I kissed him back. Then suddenly everything moved too fast. His hands travel around my back and we both landed on the bed. He kissed me intensely. His hands reached inside my shirt tears flowed down my eyes.

The next morning I woke up in his bed his white blanket covering my naked body and one more moon mark appeared at my right arm. I cried. I felt as if I was betraying Ahri and as for Alyssa I could feel if she was crying for Daniel.

"Ahri, I'm sorry," I said

"Daniel, I'm sorry," Alyssa spoke.

Alyssa is almost awakened. She can talk now within me, and I received some of Alyssa's memory. The people and Daniel parents wanted to kill Alyssa but Daniel got caught in the middle and got killed when he tried to protect her.

Their plans were destroyed and forged a new plan. Their new plan was to seal her, but she was so strong. She made a contract with the underworld king so then she could be revived and destroy Earth. But she had to pay a heavy a price. She was to become his Queen.

Ahri P.O.V

Something cold is in the air and it reeks of death. I could feel it another dangerous presence has come out. This presence is far stronger more powerful than my sister. It scares me actually. It must be close to Laura very close. I am able to feel its presence really near to it. We are connected somehow.

The world is full of mysteries. I can't believe that Laura is a vessel for my sister. I wish it wasn't like this. I can't believe I have to kill Laura is it right for me to kill her. I feel like I'm betraying her. Would she forgive me when I kill her? Would she give me another chance? This is so stubborn of course she wouldn't forgive me to be betrayed by her loved one. It is the worst betrayal that anyone could have.

The presence that is just so overwhelming. I could also feel that Laura is upset something must have happened. I hope she is alright. I hate to admit but I do like her no matter how much I wish I didn't.
