To The Mainland

King mark's POV: I never liked that piece of s**t alpha Alan. He's a despicable manipulative bastard. But then again so is alpha Rowan. My blood was still boiling thinking about the current situation and all the lives that did not have to be ended today. I recalled the events of the day. Early this morning I was sitting at my desk going over the recent financials of all 4 territories in the mainland. A messenger came running in without knocking. He was out of breath and stumbling over his feet. He fell sliding and hitting his head on the side of my desk. "Your majesty! your Majesty we have an urgent notification from Alpha Zack." he said. Staying down on the ground. I reached my hand down and helped him up. "He is on the crystal in the meeting room" The messenger said. "Thank you, you may go now." I said as I walked him to the door. I then went to the second door and opened it. The meeting room was adjacent to my office. Walking into the darkened room where a brightly lit crystal sat in the middle of the conference room I took a seat at the table. Alpha Zack's face appeared in the crystal. "Your majesty please forgive my sudden intrusion" He said bowing his head. "It is fine Alpha Zack, Whatever it is it seems important" I said waving it off. "So what is so urgent Alpha Zach?" I asked. "It is alpha Alan sir, He is starting a war with the eastern territory, I received this letter just this morning" He said holding the letter up to the crystal in an attempt for me to see it. "Which says?" I asked as the words were blurry. "He asked me for reinforcements stating he needed warriors sent to help protect his territory, the pack house, cities and other smaller towns" He said in a rush. "Before you get angry sir, I did send a small portion of my warriors over to guard the city's borders in case this stupid vendetta he has against Alpha Rowan finds its way across his territory and on to the steps of innocent people" He said more calmly now that my face remained neutral. "I did not want to be involved in this." he quickly added. "I don't want to sound accusational but he sent 80% of his warriors to the border front leaving innocent people unprotected then cornered me into helping him. Your majesty, I implore you to step in and end this ridiculous fight." He half pleaded. The rage was bubbling in my chest, my face still gave nothing away. "I will handle it" I mumbled my voice tight with anger. "Thank you for letting me know" I said as I stood up and walked out of the conference room. "Jermaine!" I growled out over the mind link to my Beta, "Gather a dozen of the royal guards, and have them meet us at the jet. Let them know we are going to the mainland." I commanded "As you wish sir" he said quickly before cutting the link off. I gritted my teeth as I stomped through the hallway and headed down to the main floor entrance. Alpha Alan tried to start this entire war without me finding out until it was too late to stop it. Until thousands were already dead! I Will make my stance clear today. I thought as I walked down the staircase and out the front door. Jermain met me just outside with a dozen warriors. "We are ready sir" He said, opening the back door to a slick Black SUV. We drove to the air strip and all got on the Jet. The jet took off and was in the air for about 15 minutes before the captain came over the radio "Your majesty and passengers we will be flying through the portal in 5 minutes please buckle your seat belts and ready yourself for some small turbulence" the captain said before the radio clicked silent. I did not bother with the seat belt but waited for the turbulence. As the plane flew toward the portal the natural sunlight soon replaced by an aura of different shades of colors. Purple, pink, red, green and blue flying through the portal the cabin lit up with the colors before a bright white light touched every seat on the plane from the opened windows. The light soon being replaced by the sunlight telling us we were now on the other side and were in the mainland. It was not a very long flight, 4 hours or so. I sat back and relaxed, replaying my game plan in my head. Once we landed we loaded up the royal SUVs and headed to the front line of this ridiculous war. An hour later My SUV And 4 others pulled up to the front lines. I sent Jermaine to speak with alpha Alan First. My blood was already boiling and I was already trying to maintain my temper. Jermaine stepped out of the vehicle while the rest of us remained in our seats. Waiting to see if they will become combative or leave in peace if they refuse we will make them leave but I am trying to resolve this peacefully. A small chuckle passed my lips. 3000 years of war, destruction and chaos all starting and ending with my hand and now I am the one trying to maintain peace in both veiled vallis and the mainland. The irony was not lost on me . I peered through the window observing my surroundings. Tents were pitched as far down as the eye could see. Everywhere young and older men and women were in training sessions, packing bags, cleaning weapons and sharpening blades, some of the others were preparing meals all of them getting ready to cross the border into the eastern territory on Alan's command. Alpha Alan hid, What a coward I thought. I could smell his scent wafting through my cracked window, it smelled of stale cigars and fermented whisky with a hint of body odor and sweat.
