Amara's POV
"Hahaha... Finally, I managed to capture you, Marco's beloved breeder. He will surely risk everything to get you back," the gleeful laughter came from this familiar Beta.
"Pfft... Who wants to be that perverted alpha's breeder? I would never willingly be handed over to him!" I spat in this Beta's sneering face.
I couldn't break free from this damn Beta immediately. I was bound to a wooden chair, my legs also tied, rendering my body completely immobile.
However, this time I showed a different face. Don't compare the old Amara to the one standing here now. I will no longer be weak and easily oppressed.
"Hmph... How dare you spit on me, you filthy omega," Valentino cursed, followed by a hard slap to my right cheek.
This foolish Beta had the audacity to slap me and pull my hair like some lowly w***e he took pleasure in tormenting.
I, unable to contain the boiling surge of wolf blood within me, which stirred turmoil inside, could no longer be restrained. However, I heard someone's voice.
"Can I hear and read someone's thoughts? Yes, in this room, it's only me and this cunning Beta," my thoughts pondered.
"Hmm, Marco must be willing to do anything for this omega. He's even neglecting his breeders," Valentino's thoughts, which I could read, echoed in my mind.
"Is it true that the cruel alpha yearns for me? Is he..." my thoughts halted, and I didn't want to consider it as destiny. I refuse to have a mate like him. If possible, I would trade him at the market. I will make an appealing offer to the Moon Goddess.
Ah, my thoughts are wandering off track. I might get cursed by the Moon Goddess if I speak recklessly.
"Oh, goddess. If it's true according to my instincts that the cruel alpha is my fated mate, please give me a chance to choose my own desired mate!" I prayed silently in my heart.
Valentino took out his phone without asking for my permission, boldly taking a deliberate photo of me. This repulsive werewolf even gripped my face and brought his face close, then took a picture with a sinister smile.
"It's truly amazing. I can't wait to see the reaction of that arrogant alpha!" Valentino exclaimed with a sarcastic laugh.
I wondered what the damn Beta had been doing, as he was busy with his phone in his hand.
When Valentino left the cramped room, I had a brilliant idea. "AHA..." something came to mind.
"Aaa... My stomach hurts. I need to go to the bathroom immediately. Quickly untie me!" I shouted while squirming with a pained expression on my face.
Shortly after, Beta came back in and put his phone in the pocket of his thick, furry jacket.
"Could you stop babbling? Turns out you haven't changed, still chatty and talkative!" Beta cursed, glaring at me.
I continued to grimace as if my stomach was in great pain. Beta then untied me.
"Come on, hurry up. Don't be as slow as a snail!" he said rudely, pushing me forward.
Quickly, I leaped and transformed into a wolf with beautiful golden fur on my chest. Unexpected by that foolish Beta, I dashed far away from that old shack.
"Haha... Amara fights back, he thinks I'm still weak like before. I'm not the weak and easily oppressed Amara!" I exclaimed, laughing joyfully in my werewolf form.
I passed through rocks near a clear stream. I didn't recognize this forest, wondering where that foolish Beta had brought me.
From a distance, I could hear the sound of wolf footsteps chasing after me. I quickly left the forest and returned to Hotel Mawar where I was staying.
"Surely Wilson and Zion are having trouble finding me. They don't know about my other life. I don't want to confuse them, as they are the closest to me now."
I walked on the outskirts of the city, where I had successfully passed through the forest. However, I couldn't enter the city still in my wolf form. It would definitely draw the attention of many ordinary humans living alongside the wolf clan in the city of Albany.
I approached the yellow car parked in front of the classic house in front of me. In an instant, I transformed into a human behind this car. I first made sure of the surroundings and checked if it was safe. I stood up and fixed my slightly disheveled clothes.
"Excuse me, can I ask for your help?" I asked a young woman sitting on a park bench, sipping a hot cup of coffee in her hand.
The woman turned and stared at me from head to toe. I was puzzled by her silent behavior.
"I can give you some money. But before that, can you give me a ride to the hotel where I'm staying?" I said, trying to convince the young woman who seemed to be around the same age as me.
She only stiffened her jaw, then stood up and walked past me without saying anything. Her cold attitude confused me.
I turned around and saw the woman still silent and unresponsive. However, when she was near her car, she waved her hand, signaling me.
I quickly approached and got into the car. The woman just gave me a faint smile, as if speaking through gestures.
"Be careful, can't you talk?" I asked cautiously, looking at her face seriously.
She focused on driving but nodded softly in response. It turned out that this woman might be mute, but not deaf. I could make her my friend, even an assistant. I was tired of always being followed by Zion, who was of the opposite gender.
I simply directed the way to Hotel Mawar where I was staying. It turns out this young woman could be relied upon with her driving skills. I was amazed by the way she overtook and maneuvered through the traffic jam.
After a few minutes, this yellow sedan car entered the Hotel Mawar's driveway and she parked her car near the hotel lobby.
"You can come inside with me. Let's get out!" I requested, pulling her arm.
I got out first, and she followed me from behind, also getting out of the car.
This woman has such a fascinating charisma. She is suitable to be my trusted person, besides Zion and Wilson. As I entered the hotel, I was roughly grabbed by the man who had been accompanying me for several years.
"Are you alright, madam? Luckily, good fortune still surrounds you. I've been looking for you everywhere, but I was worried that something unwanted might happen to you!" this human man blabbered to me.
"Stop, don't talk too much anymore, Zion. Can't you see that I'm fine?" I replied as briefly as possible, but it calmed him down.
Zion smiled sweetly. His smile sometimes makes my heart flutter. "Ah, if only the Moon Goddess could give me a choice. I want to choose my own destiny!" I said silently in my heart.
Zion waved his hand in front of my face, giving me a signal regarding the question about this unfamiliar young woman.
"Oh, her... I don't know her name either. But she's the one who brought me to this hotel. She can't speak, so you have to know how to communicate with her!" I explained to my henchman.
"Alright, madam. By the way, the children are in your room on the 23rd floor. They are very sad, even the youngest one has been crying since earlier," Zion revealed. He handed me my bag that had fallen when I was kidnapped and taken away by a few thugs.
"You ask for her name and background. I want her to be my assistant!"
Zion nodded, and I walked towards the elevator. I entered the elevator followed by Zion and the unfamiliar woman. The three of us headed to the 23rd floor, where I was staying.
After 5 minutes...
The elevator door opened, and I was taken aback by what I saw. In front of me, outside the room, my four adorable twin children were standing, waiting for my arrival. Tears streamed down my face as I saw Felix trying to calm his three younger sisters. How could a young boy be so composed, with a cold and expressionless face, yet act so maturely, patting the backs of his sisters one by one.
"My son, he truly is my pride," I whispered, tears falling like pearls.
The young woman behind me gently rubbed my back and smiled at me, nodding in agreement.
I took hold of her hand, and the two of us quickly approached my four adorable and endearing children.
They had their backs turned to me, still unaware of their mother's presence.
"My darlings, this is your mother!" I said, my voice filled with sadness.
"Mama..." my four children called out and ran towards me.
They crashed into me, almost causing me to stumble backward. Felix held back his three sisters, preventing them from pushing me. My son was so sweet, showing his care and protection towards me.
"This boyfriend of mine is truly the best at protecting his mother, and these three daughters of mine, why do they always give their older brother trouble," I teased my three daughters.
"Mama, where have you been? Fely can't be far from Mama," my spoiled daughter exclaimed.
"Enough, let's continue the conversation inside the room. Let's go inside!"
Zion opened the door, and my four children and I entered the room. The young woman grabbed my hand, and she started communicating through gestures again.
"If you want to go home, alright, you can go home now, but please give all the identification that I need about you to that man," I explained what I needed from her identification.
The woman nodded, and I smiled at her, giving a signal through my eyes to Zion for him to give her a sum of money. Zion quickly understood and was accustomed to everything I commanded him to do.
I entered the room, where my four children were already waiting. They were sitting and rolling around on the bed, while my little sweetheart stood staring at the room door.
"Mom, come sit here!" Felix pulled my hand.
I sat on the bed, surrounded by my four children who hugged me all at once.
"We miss you, Mom. Please don't stay away from us," they expressed with their childlike instincts.
I gently stroked their hair one by one, then I leaned down to kiss their foreheads. Why is it so difficult for me to be apart from them? How can I break this distance between us?
"Mom, what happened? Is there a problem that caused us to be separated for a while?" Felix asked, holding my face and gently caressing it.
I looked into his beautiful eyes with full attention, and I could see the questions seeking clarity from Felix, my eldest son.
"My dear, Mom will find a way for us to stay together!" I said to reassure my four twin children.
"Thank you, Mom. We love you!" Alice said as she kissed me.
"Felix, please call Zion," I requested.
Felix shuffled down from the bed using his belly, this child acted like an adult. He opened the door and called for Zion.
Zion entered the room, bowing slightly, and said, "What's the matter, Madam?" he asked.
"Please give me a solution to this problem. I can't be far from them either. But I can't show them in public, especially since I have bitter memories in this country!" I whispered to Zion.
A knocking sound was heard at the door, and the sound of that person was so familiar to my ears.
"Oh, how did he manage to find this hotel!"
