Afterword
This has been the first book I've ever written. Well, technically more like the first I've ever published. The first I wrote was when I was four and it consisted purely of uncolored illustrations, but the boy who drew that and the man who wrote this both would probably be happier that you read this one. I and the numerous school assignments I've sacrificed on the altar of its completion all hope you enjoyed the play underwater. There will likely be others like it to come, perhaps following the continued story of Frank and Davey, and perhaps less so. Carcosa is a very big place after all.
