Xavier

We have spent months tracking down our missing pup and finally three days ago we found her. She was alive and well enough considering what she's been through. I've sent most of the my men back to our pack with the pup so she can be returned to her parents. While Dylan, myself and a couple of men head back to see Chris to let him know what we found out before we returning home too.

I've just walked in the front door of the pack house on my way to find Alpha Chris when I hear giggling coming from the back of the house, I turn my head in that direction just as a beautifully she-wolf walks through the door. Her head turns towards me like she some how knows I'm there and the seconds her icy blue eyes meet mine I'm frozen dead in my tracks. I can't seem to move as I drink in her features. Golden blonde hair that falls down passed her ass has an image of me wrapping it around my hand as I f**k her from behind popping into my mind. I have to shake the image off as I continue to take in her icy blue eyes, pale skin that doesn't look like she spends much time outside, cute little button nose, beautiful full pouty lips. I physically have to hold back a groan at the site of her lips. So full and lush I can all most feel them wrapped around my c**k. She looks to be no more then 5"4' with a slim waist, full t**s that look to be the perfect handful and toned legs that make me thinks she works out. My c**k has instantly gone rock hard in my pants just from looking at her. I have to hold myself back from running to her, picking her up and f*****g her against the closest wall. I am having such an extream reaction to her and I have no idea why. I feel like the worlds stopped and it's just the two of us there staring at each other. I'm not sure how long we stand there but just as I'm about to step toward her, her eyes flick away from me and the spell is broken. I watch as a second she-wolf walks out and grabs her hand, pulling her out another door and she's gone. What the f**k! 

"You alright man?" Dylan my Beta pats my back with a confused look on his face. s**t am I alright? I have no idea what the f**k just happened, who is that beautiful she-wolf and why do I care?

"Xav." Dylan waves a hand in front of my face, that's when I realize I still standing there staring at the spot she was just in and I haven't answered Dylan's first question. Snapping myself out of whatever this is I quickly shake my head to clear the thoughts of her out and look to Dylan.

"Yeah I'm good." I answer before continuing down the hall to Alpha Chris's office ignoring the look Dylan throws my way. Reaching the door I knock two rapid taps against the door still trying to clear my mind of the beautiful she-wolf I just saw. I have no idea who she is or why she had such an effect on me but I need to get her out of my head, I'm here for business nothing else. I hear Alpha Chris's voice boom from the other side of the door telling me to enter pulling me out of my thinking. Pulling the door open I stride in like I don't have a care in the world, offering my hand to Chris once I come to a stop in front of his deck. 

"Alpha Chris"

"Alpha Xavier" he returns with his own head nod as he stands up and shakes my hand. I watch as he turns back to the warriors sitting in his office and wraps up his meeting before sending them on their way. 

"So what brings you lot back here after all these months?" Chris asks pointing to the now vacant chairs in front of his desk. 

"We found our pup and a small group of rogues and some information I think you might be interested in." 

"Oh is the pup alright, health, safe?" he asks with genuine concern. This is why I have a lot of respect for Chris, he cares even when it's not his own pack.

"Yes the pup should be back home with her parents now. It's the information we discovered that I'm more concerned about." I go on to tell him what we managed to get out of the couple of rogues we found with the pup and a couple of the other Alphas we came across. How the rogues are actually working in small groups but working together for someone else going around stealing pups looking for a pup with a white wolf. Once I've gone through everything I know the office is silent for a few minutes as I watch Chris run through everything in his head. 

"So you're telling me the rogues are working together?" he asks looking between Dylan and I. We both give him a single nod yes before he continues. "And they are working for someone?" 

"Yes, they have a leader. We don't know who, we weren't able to get that information out of the rogues we found."

"And they have been kidnapping female pups from all over the country?" Again Dylan and I just nod. "So they are looking for a female with a white wolf, but have no idea who this female is, where is she, how old she is or anything in between." 

"Yes, I meet with half a dozen other Alphas further south that have also had pups taken. All ranging from 6 - 18."

"f**k!"  Chris roars. I can see the stress lines start to form on his face. I know what he's thinking because I had the same thoughts when I found out. "That's like half of my pack, what the hell I'm I supposed to do. How am I going to keep them safe." 

He gets up and starts pacing around his office. It takes him a while to calm down but once he does we spend the next couple of hours going over the measures we've put in place at my pack and talking with his Beta and patrol team. Chris offers us rooms for the night and I'm dead tired but all I want is to go home now and sleep in my own bed after so many months that I decline the offer and we head to the front door. As we're saying our goodbyes I notice the beautiful blonde she-wolf out of the corner of my eye. I watch as she makes her way over to a black Dodge Hellcat parked off to one side, she drops her shopping bags into the backseat as her friend trails behind her. I realize her friend is none other than Lexi, Chris's sister. I met her the last time I was here but I've never seen the beautiful blonde before. Her and Lexi hug before she climbs into the drivers seat and starts the car. Chris's head snaps to the side when he hears the car start. I watch a smile spread across his face as he watches the car drive passed us down the driveway and onto the road. 

"Alpha Xavier, good to see you again." 

"Lexi" I nod to her as I turn back towards the group and notice the Beta female standing next to her brother.

"You girls have fun shopping?" Chris asks her. 

"Yeah, we both found dresses, I can't wait for tomorrow to be over and done with."

"And where is she off to?" Chris points in the direction that the car just headed in. 

"She says she had a training date with Tony." Lexi shrugs as she turns on her heel and heads inside without a backwards look as her brother growls behind her. I can hear Lexi's laughter as she continues inside. 

Chris

"Is she coming back for dinner?" I yell at Lexi as she walks inside but get no answer other than her laughter. So I do the next best thing. I ring Layla'h. Her phone goes to voicemail, pissing me off more. So I ring Rhys.

"Send someone to get Layla'h. I need to talk to her and Lexi but she's not answering her phone." I growl at him the second he answers the phone. 

"And if she doesn't want to come?" the shithead asks with a laugh.

"Then drag her here kicking and screaming if you have too." I hang up on him. "Fucken females" I cruse trying to get my s**t back together. I don't like that she trains with Tony in the mornings. He doesn't pull his punches with her and she ends each training session covered in bruises but now she's doing extra training with him too. No way. It's not happening. I need to talk to her and Lexi about the s**t going on with the rogues anyway so may as well drag her back to the pack house. I make a mental note to talk to Tony about the extra training. I'm pulled from my thoughts by Xavier who is standing there laughing at me with his Beta Dylan. 

"Man, you look like you have enough on your plate we're going to get out of your hair. We'll keep in touch and I'll let you know if we find anything more." he tells him before we shake hands and he climbs into his SUV and leaves. 

It takes a couple of pack warriors two hours to find and get Layla'h back to the pack house and in that time Luke, Rhys and I decided not to tell the girls about the rogues but instead tell them that we have given them a job over the summer teaching self defense classes to females aged 6+. This is part of the plan that Xavier and I came up with earlier. If we teach our females self defense it lessens the chance of someone kidnapping them, along with boosting boarder patrols, regular meetings with other Alphas around us, and moving warriors into the houses on the edge of our boarders while we continue to try find out more about what's going on. 

Layla'h walks into my office wearing a sports bra and workout shorts with rivets of sweat sliding down her body, covered in bruises and a huge smile on her face. Followed by two warriors both with scowls on their faces. Mac, the warrior on her left has a black eye forming and what looks like a bruise along his jaw and Scott the one on her right is holding a wad of tissues to his nose but I can see the blood that's dipped down his chin. Neither of them look impressed. 

"What the hell happened to you two?" Rhys asks them. The three of us watch as there's some grumbling and muttering before Mac points to Layla'h. We look between the two warriors and Layla'h's huge smile before Luke starts laughing his ass off. 

"You let the female beat you." Luke gets out between belts of laughter. More grumbling from the two of them before Layla'h speaks up. 

"I told them the had to beat me if they wanted me to go with them, but then Scott started bleeding and I felt bad for them so I came anyway." she says with a shrug, with her smile still firmly in place. 

"Come here Baby" I say holding my hand out to her, then turning towards Mac "can you go tell Lexi I need to see her." the two warriors leave as Layla'h comes around the desk and sits on my lap before giving me a quick kiss. Luke and Rhys are still laughing over the warriors as I quietly talk to Layla'h. 

"Baby, I've been waiting two hours for you to come back. You didn't even stop to say hello when you got back from shopping." I tell her as I push some of her hair off her sweaty face. 

"Finding a dress for Lexi took longer than we thought and I was running late for training with Tony." 

"Mmmh, about that. I don't want you doing extra training with Tony. You're covered in bruises. You know I hate seeing you like this." One of my hand softly runs over a bruise on her ribs. 

"Yeah but I wouldn't have been able to beat those two up if I didn't do the extra training." she flicks a thumb over her shoulder in direction of the door where Mac and Scott had been. 

"You shouldn't be beating up our pack warriors anyway."

"I know, but it's nice to know I can." she smiles sweetly back at me. Before I can respond Lexi walks in.

"Who kicked Mac and Scott's ass" she says loudly as she plops herself down in a chair.

"Layla'h!" Luke and Rhys say together before breaking out in laughter again causing Lexi to start as well. It takes them a few minutes to get themselves under control and fill Lexi in on what happened to the warriors. Once they are calm enough I clear my throat to get everyone's attention before telling the girls about their job for the summer. They both b***h and moan about how they had plans and their plans didn't include working but I tell them they have no choice. We need a couple of strong females to help with the training and they are the two we trust the most. They agree while still complaining as we head to the kitchen for dinner. 

Layla'h

The summer months fly by. Graduation came and went, both Lexi and I walked across the stage accepting our piece of paper. Chris and the guys throw a graduation celebration for our whole year group at the pack house and then the very next morning Lexi and I started the self defense classes for females. Between my own training first thing in the morning, the self defense classes and trying to get sorted for collage I have very little down time, not that Chris has had a lot either. He's been busy with almost weekly meetings with other Alpha's in the area either here in our territory or he leaves for a couple of days to theirs. He's had extra boarder patrols lately too, then he decided to change things up a bit by having some of the older single pack warriors move from the pack house to their own houses around town, to make room for the new warriors to move into the pack house. This is the first time that the new warriors have been able to join the training program straight after high school graduation for a summer of warrior training to join their ranks. Chris said that they are trying it to see if he can keep a fresh lot of warriors coming through every year, which should hopefully allow the older guys more time off and time to be able to travel to find mates if they want without ever putting the pack security at risk. So Lexi and I as well as some of the omegas have also been roped into cleaning out vacant houses around town and setting them up ready for the guys to move in then having to clean the rooms in the pack house for the new lot. They have also set up new boarder security with the warriors living in houses around town which they've been doing training drills for over the last month. Chris has permanent stress lines on his face from all the new changes that have been happening over the summer and the only time I've seen him relax slightly is at night when we're in bed. I have pretty much moved into his room in the pack house as my house is a mess, with packing for collage and storing the things in my house for while I'm away but it's good because nights are really the only time we have to spend together. 

Waking up this morning I think over all the things I need to get done today. I only have two weeks left before I leave for collage and I want to be able to spend at least the last two or three days with Chris. I have training like normal as well as the self defense training, then I have to head into town to finish picking up my school and all that is probably going to take me all day. I know I should get up and get started but lying here snuggled in Chris's arms is my favorite part of the day and most likely to only time I'll spend with him today even though I know he's still asleep. I enjoy the peace and quiet for a few more minutes before finally pulling myself out of bed and into the shower leaving Chris to sleep. By the time I'm showered and dressed Chris is sitting up in bed looking at me with sleep softened eyes, ruffled hair and a gentle smile.

"Come here" he says holding his hand out towards me.

Taking it I climb back on to the bed and over Chris so I'm straddling his waist.

"Morning" I give him a quick peak on the lips before pulling away. I don't have time to getting into anything more than that if I'm going to make it to training on time.

"Morning Baby, what are you doing today?" he asks nuzzling his face into my neck.

I go over all the things I plan to get done today then Chris lets me know he has a visiting Alpha and co arriving today who are going to be staying for the next couple of days, and he'll be tied up in meetings most of the day. We make plans to meet up for lunch in between my self defense class and shopping before I notice the time.

"s**t! I gotta go before I'm late." I partially yell jumping off the bed and heading out the door. I meet up with Lexi at the bottom of the stairs on her way out too. We catch up and go over what we're going to be training in our class today before she agrees to come shopping with me and help me finish packing later tonight while we're on our way to the training gym.

Chris

Layla'h leaves only a couple minutes after I see her for the first time today, we barely spend any time to together at the moment both of us busy doing the things we need to do and it's killing me. I know it's only going to get worst when she leaves in a couple of weeks. When that time comes I won't ever get a couple of minutes in the morning or falling into bed at night with her. I'll have to go weeks without seeing her, being alpha I won't be able to leave to see her at school and she probably won't be able to come back very often either. I'm not sure what we're going to do but that's going to have to be a problem for another day I have Alpha Wade showing up in a couple of hours and I want to do a broader run before he gets here so I need to get moving instead of sitting here missing Layla'h. Rolling out of bed I pull on a loose pair of basketball shorts and head downstairs and fly passed the kitchen on my way to the door.

"Woo, where you going to such a hurry son?" I hear my fathers voice boom from inside the kitchen making me stop and back track.

"I'm heading out to do a broader run, I have Alpha Wade showing up today and won't have time to do it later." I reply wondering what he's doing here so early, him and mum don't come to the pack house much any more these days they prefer the quiet of their own home now that they have retired.

"That's why I'm here, Wade rang me yesterday to let me know he was going to be here so I thought I'd come over to catch up with him. Sit in on some meetings like old times."

"Does mum know that's what your doing today?" I c**k my eyebrow at him in question.

"Whose idea do you think this was, your mother told me I'm driving her mad having nothing to do and getting in her way." He looks a bit sheepish as he tells me this. I can't help the little chuckle.

"Oh how the roles have reversed, mum used to do that to Lexi and I any time she needed some peace."

"Mmmm, treating me like a small child. Where are the girls? I haven't seen them yet this morning" he asks trying to get the spot light off him.

"You must have just missed them, they are at the training gym and won't be back until about lunch time. I gotta go Dad if I'm going to have breakfast and a shower before Alpha Wade gets here."

"Yeah, yeah. You go, I'm fine here. I'll see you later"

"Bye Dad" I wave before heading to the front door. Hitting the path at the bottom of the steps I pull off my shorts before I shift.

I'm out on the broader longer than I wanted to be, having stopped to talk to a couple of warriors to see how the changes we made were working and if we needed to change anything else. By the time I get back I'm halfway through breakfast talking to Dad when Alpha Wade pulls through the gates.

"s**t! I need to shower."

"Relax Son, you finish your breakfast and shower and I'll go meet our guests." the old man says as he gets up from his seat and makes his way to the door. Thank god he's here, I finish my breakfast as I hear voices start to come through the front door. Leaving my plate in the sink I go to head upstairs for a shower.

"Alpha Chris, there you are." Booms out behind me just as my foot hits the first step, s**t I've been caught and didn't even manage to get a shower.

"Alpha Wa..." My words die in my throat as I swing my head round and my eyes land on the she-wolf standing next to him. My wolf starts going crazy in my head and I can't pull my eyes from her as I drink her in. She's tall 5'8" or 9. Long tanned toned legs, hour glass figure, short chocolate bob that frames her face, beautiful chocolate eyes and kissable lips that just whispered the word Mate as I stared at them.

"Ma.. Mate" I stammer my gaze still locked on hers.

"Oh s**t! Luke!" I vaguely hear Rhys in the background as I start to move towards my mate. Rhys cuts in front of me pulling me back to the stairs as I watch Luke pushing the group at the door down the hallway out of my line of site. I snap out of whatever haze I was in once I lose eye contact with the she-wolf, my mate. I don't even know her name, what is she doing here. She must have come with Alpha Wade. Rhys pulls me up the stairs and into my room before he lets me go. I sort of feel like I'm going crazy, my wolf isn't happy that we can't see our mate but we can feel her close by, my eyes dart around the room noticing that Rhys is blocking the door before spinning around the room again, it's not until my eyes land on Layla'hs' handbag that I'm pulled out of the fog.

"f**k Layla'h" I mutter under my breath when it dawns on me what just happened.

"Yeah Layla'h" Rhys comments from his post at the door.

"f**k!" I scream into the room before dropping to the bed not caring they can all probably hear me downstairs, what am I going to do. I love Layla'h I have for years, I don't want to hurt her and after the way she was when she found out we weren't mates I know this is going to kill her. I had completely forgotten about Layla'h in the moment when I saw the other she-wolf if it wasn't for Rhys and Luke I don't know what would have happened or how much damage I would have caused.

"f**k! What am I going to do Rhys.... Layla'h. Fuck." I question one of my best friends hoping he has an answer for me.

"I don't know man." he says just before the door is opened behind him and Luke comes in.

"This is a mess man." is Luke's only input once he's in the room. We all just stare at each other for several long minutes before Luke speaks again.

"Okay, we've got this. What is Layla'h doing today?" he questions me.

"Training, self defense class, lunch, shopping, dinner" I list off automatically the things we had discussed earlier this morning.

"Okay good so she's not going to be around today she'll be busy all day which gives us some time." he nods to himself while Rhys and I watch as he tries to come up with a plan.

"So, you need to get in the shower and get ready for a day of meetings" he continues pointing at me.

"We will get one of the Omegas to take Jenny out of the pack house for the day so you two aren't around each other." he nods to himself again like he agrees with his plan and thinks it going to work. Jenny. My mate's name is Jenny, her name rattles around in my head, my wolf likes the sound of her name. "Jenny" I whisper her name quietly to myself. Liking the way it rolls off my tongue.

"We're going to have to explains all this to Alpha Wade and your old man. Wade's not going to like this specially because Jenny is his daughter." Rhys puts his two cents in.

"You're going to have to talk to both Layla'h and Jenny and then decided who you're going to be with. Have you and Layla'h even discussed what you guys would do if this ever happened?" Luke asks as they both look at me. I'm sure we didn't but I can't think of anything to save my life right now. I'm freaking out, this whole thing is just not going to be good.

"Go have a shower man, I'll get Jenny out of the house and keep the old guys happy until you come down." Luke pats me on the back before leaving the room.
