Chapter 17

I am taking my mate out for the day. So I decide to take her to a park that's actually reallly large. It has all the regular stuff but also a miniature warriors training for the kids to play on. We spend the day together and then go to dinner. Rhea isnt like other kids nope. She loves stake and chicken and pasta like chicken creamosa. She has a more mature palet. I always take her home first we get dressed up and go to dinner.

Riley is it weird that our babies aren't that much younger then Rhea but are at their actual age and she's not? Yeah, Xav it is sometimes. I am glad the moon-goddess made her grow faster though I could not imagine having to wait for you to grow up eighteen years. I know the torture. I think Lex is handling it well though. Yeah. He's so worried something will happen to their bond. I can only pray it never does.

As the months pass by we get ready to celebrate Rhea turning 10. It was a surprise for her and it had been hard for her to make friends with the younger kids because she was changing so fast. I came up with the idea for my leadership team and Lex to hang out a lot and we included Rhea so when she reached eighteen she would have friends. She was incredibly smart she was reading book for fifteen year olds and at ten she was almost done with high-school she would graduate by the time we celebrated her twelfth birthday. We had it set like a theme park. When she and Lex arrived she squealed in surprise of the fun theme. It was a blast. Things were going well for everyone. Rhea was sharing a room with Lex no-one knew except our closest people. During this time Alpha Simon and his Luna chose new leadership for their pack. They have a new Beta,Delta and head Warrior. Things are going well for this pack.

We had an ongoing investigation into that she-wolf and we were getting ready to bring punishment on her. That night however was the test for my husband's Beta Lincoln. I was in a trance as I saw her swallow something her eyes flashed. She walked to Lincoln and placed a hand on him and he yelled Mate but then he frowned. Who are you because you are not my mate. What how could you say that? Well there is not tingles when we touch. He calls the guards and has her taken to the dungeon. They did and in my vision it showed he passed. I was so happy. We know she used a potion on him, how she got it was concerning. After questioning her we had all the information we needed and we had to add to our security when bringing new wolves in.

Rhea

I am now around ten, my family, my mate and our family planned a party for me. It was nice everyone treated me like a princess. My interests are starting to change too. I've already graduated high-school and am on my second year of college. I want to be a doctor. I want to help shifters and Vamps, well all supernatural world. I have a few classes on human anatomy too, as well as witchioly. I really want to help those around me. I also have noticed my feelings for my mate have started to change. I have always loved him but it's starting to change to I think a different kind of love slowly. I sometimes get scared he will mate with someone his age but he keeps telling me that it's only me. The moon-goddess had started lessons with me while I am asleep. These lessons consist of many things including the physiology of humans. The next things I will learn will be when I turn twelve it will be the art of war. Then my specialty training will come, which is how to use my powers. I am learning so much. It's all so fast but my brain is absorbing everything. I really love spending time with my family and the leadership here and their twins. Because I am growing at a different rate it's hard for me to make friends I can't seem to keep any except our leadership and those who are friends with my mate. I have also made friends with my guards. I have told the moon-goddess my concerns and she has spoken to me about them. I am glad I can talk to her and my mother.

I hear mother talking about if they should wait to have another baby. They don't want me to feel less important I walk out the door in search of my mate. My head down as I walk I let my body lead me. He's in the Alpha's office. I forget and just walk in. The Alpha says in an indulging tone hey little one you forgot to kno... He stops and my mate turns to see teara streaming down my face. He rushes over and picks me up. The Alpha asks if we need privacy I shake my head no. He settles back down, what's the matter Rhea? Mom and dad want to have another baby. Are you upset about that? Yes but not in the way you might think. Then how beautiful, my mate asks? I hate that everyone thinks they have to put their lives on hold for me. It's bad enough my mate has to wait for me to grow up. They both sigh. We will talk to them together ok? I shake my head yes. As for me Rhe baby you're mine I truthfully wasn't ready for a mate in the traditional way when I found out we were mates. It really has worked out well for me to have to wait because I am learing how to be a good mate while you grow. Really? I think you're a good mate. Yes but there are things I have to learn too. Like what? Well like how to be a good mate when we have pups. I blush hard. You're learning that? Yes, the Alpha is teaching me. Since my father is no longer I am learning how to be a good mate and father from him. I am learning for his leadership too. How to be a good protector. I will always do what is needed for you. For us, you're mine baby you can't get rid of me ok? I don't want to. I just don't want you to get rid of me either. No of course not baby. The Alpha buts in. Rhea you have to stop keeping all that inside you and to yourself because it can eventually leave darkness behind ok. Yes Alpha. Talk to us about what you're feeling ok? I will I promise. Alright sweet girl time to talk to your mom and dad. I walk back with my mate. Hi mom dad can we talk? Sure, whats up? I heard you this morning and I don't want you to wait to have another pup. You don't? No, I know how much you love me but please don't wait. I'm with my mate a lot and I don't want you to wait. You don't? No! I hate everyone waiting on me to move on with thwir lives. Well honey we just didn't want you to feel left out. I won't and it would be exciting to have a sibling. Well ok we are so glad you talked to us.

Lex

After the long day we had and her party I lay in my bed her curled up next to me. My cute little mate. I think back to last month when I turned seventeen and how she surprised me. She planned a whole day for us then a party with our family and friends. Then her gift the moon-goddess let my parents visit me and my mate drew the picture of is together it was amazing. I love this little creature so much. nuzzle her as I fall asleep with her in my arms.
