Chapter 15

It's been three months in that time. Lex and his mate have been able to lengthen their time apart but not by much. The can get just about three and a half hours before pain sets in. As their bond has grown now Lex can feel his pain and hers. I am ready to pop any day now the twins will be born. My wonderful mate built my friend a beautiful memorial. His mother visited the pack and his widowed mate and gave her a letter which he told her he knew he wasn't coming home the goddess told him. She showed him her new mates and he approved and released her to give her heart away again. He wanted her to be happy and he knew her love for all three of them would be equal even unto death. There was more it was beautiful and gave her a chance to resolve to allow the bond to be pleasant. She has allowed them to take her out to get to know eachother and finally tonight she wants them to mark her. I will help her get ready for her date. I have pre-instructed everyone that if I go into labor tonight no one is to disturb our brother's Zuri will deliver the twins. I have read up on human pregnancy complications so I have been donating my own blood in case there's an issue. I bought Zuri a mini frig to put in her office and now it's full of enough blood to replace my entire body 4 times. I don't want anything to go wrong. I have thouggt about a preemptive c-section I'm just not sure. I will wait to feel the prompting of the goddess. Alpha Simon and Luna Alexa have with the help of therapy been able to mate again. They are happy and having some of their pack here is good but they don't have the full responsibility right now. We have purchased the no-mans land on all sides of us. The moon-goddess said she is sending more. We have had to put a temporary holding place just outside our boarders. So, we can determine what refugees are here with good intentions and those with bad we have our boarders secure and on part of the purchase property we have a separate pack for those seeking asylum. They must have six months good behavior to enter regular pack territory and we kinda push them to see how the respond. Myself along with Xander, Simon, Alexa, Lex, Rhea and our Betas and Gamma are able with the moon-goddess help to determine who is truthful and who is lying. We have had over a hundred try ro come in with the good. The thing is we have very specific questions to help determine who is truthful and who is not. We have finished updating the Gamma floor and the Beta and Delta floors. We have a secret secure passage to travel between the floors a hidden war room and escape routs along with fully stocked bomb shelters. We have higher security now and it's helped since it scans biometrics and it has ways to detect secretly if the door should not be opened. It prevents someone threatening to kill if you don't let them in. Its so discreet no one would no it's no malfunctioning. Right before it was on the floor which also has hiden cameras in the main spaces no one has access to the footage except who the floor belongs to and myself and my Alpha mate it prevents us from seeing things we shouldn't. Beta Lincoln has not found his mate yet and it's hurting him. I know she is coming soon I can feel it. Nevertheless he will not give in to those who want him. He only wants his mate. We also have Zuri her daughter and my Beta. They are fully mated and marked making Zuri Beta female. He and his wolf claimed her daughter immediately and now she calls him dad. A lot has happened in this short time. Everything is packed and ready for the hospital. Baby where you at? Ahh my mate I love him. Honey in here making sure I have everything for the hospital. Well my love let me take you to dinner? Ok baby lets go. We leave he take me to place in our territory which is basically a small town. It's a beautiful restaurant a truly romantic dinner. I start to feel uneasy I really don't like the way the woman is looking at my husband/mate. Xander notices my unease. Baby what's the matter? I mind-link him I don't like her she makes me feel weird. Me too, she must be new she is a transfer. Ok well we need to speak with her in private. Alert the guards to follow her secretly and then we will speak to her in a few days. I want our secret gaurds to see if they can find if there's evidence of anything shady. After we are done eating we go for a walk then home. I look at my mate and he is so amazing. Babygirl what's up? I just want to shower together and I really want you. I need you honey. He jumps up alright I will take care of my beautiful wife. We head to the shower were he gives me exactly what I want. Then after before we dress we go three more rounds. As we lay in bed I think about our lives and how the goddess needs us. I think about the upcoming war and how we may lose eachother or our families. Babygirl I can feel your emotions what's wrong? I am thinking about the war and what might happen. He looks in my eyes baby don't think about it. Not right now we have time to think about it later ok? Ok. Breathe my scent in babe. I do as he says then fall alseep. I wake up about 3am and go to the bathroom and then can't get comfortable. Babygirl you ok? I can't get comfortable. Ok, here come here. I get up because scooting is hard as I walk to his side of the bed wetness trickles down my leg. Um babe did you pee? If so no big deal I'll get you cleaned up. No, my water broke. Ok I pick up her bag and hand it to her then pick her up bridal style and walk to the elevator and we quietly leave the pack house. We head to the hospital I shut down my pain and put up a block i don't want my brother to rush out of anything. The goddess gave me the ability to select who I let in and who I don't. My other Gamma is mind-linked and told whats going on. He knows not to interupt our brothers. We get to the hospital and I am taken to the bigger room. I am in the early stages of labor. Soon however things move quickly. Xander gasps we have to go. Where Zuri asks she has to deliver in the feild outside where we mated under the moon. Quickly grab your things and lets go. My mate picks me up and rushes out of the pack hospital with me. When we get to the feild there are all of our ranked members and some elders. I see our brothers and their mate along with Alpha Simon, Alexa, Lex and Rhea. What in the goddess is going on? The moon-goddess came to each of us in our sleep and woke us sayin bit was time we were supposed to be here. All of a sudden the wall of gold goes up but this time it is around us all. I look at our brothers and their mate, come closer when they do I see their marks. I breathe a sigh of relief. Thank the moon-goddess. What's the matter sis? I didn't want to interupt you all when you marking eachother needed to be done. All of a sudden the contractions were closer. Alright Luna time to push. It was a fast and furious labor then the twins were born. I started to feel weird then passed out. I came to minutes later then shifted immediately. My wolf pierced each babies big toe with her canine and licked it clean. I looked to see my mate shifted and did the same. Both our wolves sat there and then our pups shifted that's not supposed to happen. Then the moon-goddess shows up and she herself blesses our pups she marks them and their mates will bare a mark too they will have matching sun and moon symbols. One pup will have sun and their mate moon and the other moon and their mate sun. Thank you goddess. You are my special ones and I will do what I am allowed to make sure you come out on top of the war. Also do not be surprised of cross species mates. Do not become like that awful human man and try for a pure race. That is not what this is about. Yes goddess. Now Gamma Lex you will need patience with your mate because she is a child. Also never forget she needs to know you love her. I know you are worried but don't be your wolf will obey me. As for the rest of you love those I have given you to cherish. Thank you all for your sacrifices. She then gives her blessing to all of us but the twins get the goddess kiss straight for her. Time seems to go by fast in our world especially with war on the brink.
