Chapter 18: Arrival in Paris

487 Words
Adina and Ethan's plane touched down at Charles de Gaulle Airport, and they felt a rush of excitement as they stepped off into the City of Light. They had dreamed of visiting Paris for years, and now they were finally here, together. As they made their way through customs and collected their luggage, Adina couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder. The Eiffel Tower rose majestically in the distance, its iron latticework gleaming in the sunlight. She felt like she was in a movie, and she couldn't wait to explore the city with Ethan. They hailed a taxi and headed to their hotel, chatting excitedly about all the sights they wanted to see. Adina had always been fascinated by French history and culture, and she couldn't wait to visit the Louvre, Notre Dame, and the Arc de Triomphe. Ethan, on the other hand, was more interested in the city's culinary scene, and he was determined to try all the best croissants and cheese. Their hotel was a charming boutique hotel in the Latin Quarter, with a cozy room and a breathtaking view of the city. Adina felt like she was in a dream as she gazed out the window, taking in the rooftops and chimneys of Paris. She could see the Eiffel Tower in the distance, and she felt a sense of excitement at the thought of exploring the city. Ethan wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. "What do you want to do first?" he asked, his voice low and husky. Adina turned to him, her eyes sparkling. "Let's explore the city," she said, her voice filled with excitement. "I want to see everything." Ethan grinned. "We'll do it," he said. "We'll see all the sights, and make some unforgettable memories." They spent the morning wandering the streets of Montmartre, taking in the bohemian vibe and admiring the street artists. They stopped at a charming café for coffee and croissants, and Adina felt like she was living the dream. As they sat at the café, watching the world go by, Adina turned to Ethan and smiled. "I'm so glad we're doing this," she said, her voice filled with emotion. Ethan took her hand, his eyes filled with love. "Me too," he said. "I'm so happy to be here with you." The rest of the day was a blur of sightseeing and exploration. They visited the Louvre, where they spent hours admiring the art and history. They strolled along the Seine, taking in the sights and sounds of the city. And they ended the day with a romantic dinner at a cozy bistro, where they feasted on escargots and duck confit. As they sat at the dinner table, watching the candles flicker, Adina felt a sense of contentment wash over her. She knew that this trip was going to be an adventure of a lifetime, and she was grateful to have Ethan by her side.
