Chapter Twelve

Nikki P.O.V 

I'm pregnant what the hell am I going to do? What if Roman finds out? What would he do? Would he want the baby? Would he make me get ride of it or make me keep it? ..... Am I going to keep it?

"Nikki? Are you okay, can you walk? We need to get moving. We have a doctor back at the village, he can take a look and make sure you and the baby are alright. But we need to get moving."

"Okay, I can walk." I stand up slowly. I take a step forward and then everything went black.

Hanzo P.O.V 

"NIKKI!" s**t she fainted. The stress of becoming a mutt and finding out she is pregnant, all in one day. I need to get Dr Ren to take a look at her. 

I picked her up bridal style. Huh, she is lighter than I thought. Holding her in my arms tightly, I leapt up in to a near by tree. Using the branches I am able to make our way to Dr Ren's home in the village without running into possible danger.

She must be dehydrated, hungry and exhausted. Poor woman, she's been through hell. If I ever see the piece of s**t bastard that did this to her, I'll kill him. 

Why am I so protective of this woman?

We arrived at the village. It's small; we don't have the outsiders technology such as electricity, household appliances, we prefer to keep things basic. We are not against the modern ways, but we are direct descent of japanese warriors, so we honour them by living our lives in the ways of the warrior. The village is made up of traditional Japanese homes. There are wells where we get our water from, farms for crops, hot springs,  battle training grounds, medicinal gardens, herb gardens, children running around, laughter in the air, a peaceful atmosphere. 

This is the village of The Shadow Clan. 

I leapt down out of the tree and headed towards Dr Ren's home. I burst through the door with Nikki in my arms. She hasn't moved since she fainted, she looks so peaceful. I snapped out of my trance when Dr Ren rushed over to us. 

"Hanzo! What happened to her?! She's white as a sheet!" He kept rambling and i need him to take a look at her. "Ren!" he looked at me "She's pregnant, dehydrated, hungry and really stressed. She fainted when she found out she was pregnant. So I brought her to you. Can you give her a check up and make sure the baby is alright?" 

"Yes, of course. Please bring her to my examination room. I'll need you to wait outside while I conduct the exam." he siad as he shooed me out of the room. 

It feels like forever since they have been in there.  I  am sitting by the well when Ren came out and gestured for me to come back inside. Once back inside his home, he tells me 

"She is indeed pregnant and severly dehyydrated and needs food. by my calculations, she hasn't had a proper meal in almost 3 weeks. but the baby is fine as long as she remains on bed rest for at least for 4 weeks and Il'll be checking up on her throughout her pregnancy." 

"I understand doc, I'll keep an eye on her. She will be treat as though she is a queen."

"I'll keep you to that Hanzo and if you don't I will shoot you full of arsenic. Then bury you while you die a slow and painful death."

"Jesus doc! I really don't want to get on the wrong side of you. I'll take care of her and the baby, as if they were my own."
