Chapter Twenty

Roman's P.O.V 

"Alpha, where have you been? The warriors have news!!!"  Mark screamed at the top of his lungs. I winced at the sight of him; his left eye was black and swollen, his lips busted and bruising all over his face in the shape of my fists. Goddamn it Kane! YOU WENT TOO FAR!!!

"Mark, What is going on? Why are all the warriors here?" I can feel Kane's anger coming back to the surface. Mark, you better talk f*****g fast.

"Alpha, Our warriors found something when they were out on patrol.  As per your orders alpha, they checked by the lakeside for any more clues to Miss O'Connell's whereabouts. But when they arrived, they found Miss O'connell's father picking something up from the scene. One of the warriors went to get a closer look. Martin come tell the alpha what you witnessed."

"Yes, Alpha, my name is Martin Spencer, as Gamma Mark said I witnessed Miss O'Connell's father by the lakeside, talking to someone on the phone. He told this person that he needs his help in finding his daughter. I couldn't make out what was being said so I hid in the shadows and crept closer to hear. What I heard next Alpha I dare not say." Martin seemed to be shaking in fear at that last statement.

"Why?" I asked, getting irritated; this s**t is taking too long. "Either you tell me, or I gut you where you stand!" I am through playing games, and my Alpha tone laced my voice, I could see his the blood drain from his face. I could practically smell the piss drenching his pants.

"A...A...Alpha please, I... before I tell you, I a sure you we will find her before anything happens to her!! On my honour!" He stated. 

"BEFORE SOMETHING HAPPENS TO HER?! TELL ME WHAT THE f**k HE SAID, NOW!!!!!!" I growled. Kane was trying to take control and rip this guys's throat out.

"The person on the phone said something to what I can guess is if he wants her dead or alive. To which her father replied '"Hahaha, you can rough her up or f**k her for all I care. As long as you bring her back to me alive.' But Alpha we will find her before he does, I swear!" 

"He wants to do what with my mate, my queen, my everything! I'll kill him before he ever hurts her." I yelled as I threw the pitiful man before me against the wall. He looked up at me from the floor and in a trembling voice and said "Wait for Alpha!  there's more that I have to tell you!"

"Speak DANMIT!!" 

"He said that they aren't tracking Miss O'Connell anymore, her father found horsehair at the lake. So now they are tracking her horse.

"f**k!!"

"Lucus get a team of the best warriors in the pack and ask the nearby packs for their assistance, make any trade or deal necessary!!!"

"Yes, Alpha." He left the room with everyone else. He was leaving me alone with my thoughts.
