His Rogue Luna

Chapter 1

Christina’s POV:

BBRIIIING BRIIIINNG

I groaned slamming my hand over my alarm clock. It’s my 16th birthday and I feel like I should get to sleep past 5am but I have to go to training. Being a Beta’s daughter means that I have to be prompt and strong so that I can better defend my pack. I slide my sore body out of bed and jump in the shower. The warm water feels relaxing on my muscles. Today is the day I shift into my wolf. I'm pretty nervous but proud to represent the Crystal Water Pack in tonight’s full moon ceremony. Jumping out of the shower, I grab some underwear, leggings, and my sports bra, get dressed and brush my teeth. I take the time to braid my long dark brown hair. The girl in the mirror looking back at me is pretty dull in my opinion. I have healthy hair and green eyes. For a werewolf I have pretty pale skin. My friends and family say I’m beautiful but I’m really nothing compared to other female wolves. I get snapped out of my trance by the sound of my mom’s voice “CHRIS COME ON, YOU ARE GOING TO BE LATE FOR YOUR OWN BREAKFAST DINNER!”.

I hurry out of my room and bound down the pack house stairs. My best friend May and my little brother Owen are sandwiching an empty chair saved for me so I hurried through the breakfast buffet and took my seat.

“happy birthday!” May said excitedly, “I can’t wait to see your wolf. I wonder what color she will be!”

“Well, since my hair is brown I’m going guess she will be brown”, I said laughing through the food in my mouth.

“Well, who knows! you could have some other colors too. I can’t believe you get your wolf before ME. What will you say to her?”

“Well I’ll probably say something like ‘hi I’m your human and you’re my wolf’”. Owen giggles beside me and chimes in with a loud “can I ride on your back after you shift!?”. May and I both stare at his little body shaking with excitement over the prospect of riding a wolf. I feel myself give in, “maybe if you ask my wolf extra nice she will let you” I said smiling down at him. His eyes go wide and he jumps up and runs over to our mom , I assume, to tell her all about our conversation. She smiles over at me while helping the omegas man the breakfast line. May nudges me and stands up with her tray “welp time for training”. I nod and hurry to the field with her.

Training was intense and exhilarating. May and I had a sparring tie which was amazing for me. She is the Alpha's daughter which means she has more inherited strength and she still couldn't pin me down! Well I couldn't pin her either, but really no one expects me to. Our trainer Levi was impressed and said that I might even be able to join the elite team. That's basically my dream! If my wolf is as strong as I am tonight my dream just might come true.
