As soon as I opened the door to the room I had carefully planned, I saw Everly's eyes light up. She told me she missed drawing and painting, so I thought about what the best birthday present would be, and the idea of a studio instantly came to mind. This way, she could practice the art she loves and be with me at the same time, spending more time by my side even if part of that time she's painting.
I could have hired someone to make this room, but I decided to do it myself. If I hadn't done it, it wouldn't really be a gift.
