Feeling all eyes on her, she picked the powerful shard up seeing its size. ‘No wonder the monster had been so strong,’ she thought to herself. Pulling out the small sack that hung by the chain around her neck, she placed it safely with the other talismans.
Again she was reminded of the dream and sighed to herself… at least this time she wasn’t giving the sliver of crystal to Hyakuhei. She swallowed the shame that kept trying to rise up in her cheeks, reminding herself that it had only been a dream… right?
