Two weeks passed after the talk with Khadija, I had erased her number from my phone, one less rude girl to worry about or so I thought. It was November in the North and That meant Dry air and and a lot of Cardigans, sweaters, socks and gloves to combat the searing cold we in the north called this time of the year winter Arewa of course, there was No snow because for some natural reason, Africa's climate is so hot, Snow melts on entering Our stratosphere it heats up and falls as dew or morning fog. As a science student studying environmental health and toxicology at the university of Abuja these was just a little Detail I ought To know because of My Course study, and that meant a lot of field work I was in my 4th year in school Which meant I was almost done and even if I hated talking about it, marriage Was The one issue my dad wouldn't shut up about and rightfully so I only had to graduate get a job, get settled in and Bring Home a girl to my parents, easier said than done right, I still had some years to go before I actually got married, I have to save up for marriage, get a nice house, save up a lot too so we don't start owing debt. being a Man isn't easy which made selecting the best wife all the more difficult as you wouldn't want a lioness for a wife.I was on holidays and that meant I had lots of free time to do lots of Free stuffs, visiting my girlfriend Kameela was top priority, needless To Say the bond between us was Unbreakable, she was my everything. It was a Cold night Kameela visited me At my house, she was free to come and go, she was well Acquainted with my Family, well mother thought that was her daughter in-law I couldn't blame her though. I was seeing her off when we stopped by a quiet walk through, we was about to kiss each other goodnight when my Phone which was in her possession rang and she hung up I didn't care who it was, I was with my Baby and that's all that mattered, it rang again and this time she reluctantly answered it and put it on loud speaker, it was a girl on the phone, but the identity of The girl unknown to me. Kameela: who is this.Unknown girl:umm!! I wanna speak to the owner of this phone. That was rude I thought and one name Popped up but it couldn't possibly be her could it, if anything, she made it clear She wanted absolutely nothing to do with me. So why would she call this late at night. Kameela: the owner of the phone isn't here right now would you like me to deliver your message to him if u have any am his girlfriend.Unknown girl:oh am sorry, but I'd rather speak with him alone, just tell him Khadija called and she hung up.I know I was in for a lots of questions the way she looked at me after ending the call, but I told her everything that had happened between me and Khadija, since there was to be no secretbetween us, she believed me, we Kissed and she went home.I got Home later that night, made my Bed and was about to lay down when she Khadija called me.
