It was as easy as it was difficult to follow Leo’s secrets for a happy mate bond that other wolves will all envy. The words I needed to say flowed easily enough, but meaning them wasn’t. I strongly suspected that Izzy would see right through me if I wasn’t 100% sincere about this. Therefore I had to be completely honest with her. I had to bear my soul and be vulnerable to her, or I knew my efforts would be completely in vain.
