Amy’s POV
I’m really quite proud of my baby sister Jan as she holds herself together during this difficult period of her life. It certainly could not be easy for her, but she makes it look like she knows what she’s doing. She’s certainly learned very quickly how to ‘fake it until you make it’.
Particularly as it regards to Theo. She’s managed to give him just enough affection to keep him reasonably happy, without giving up too much of herself.
“I’m glad that’s all over,” Jan whispers to me as we are shown the way to the Royal dining room for lunch before we tackle today’s pressing issues. Her new officers Luca, Marku, and Raul following behind, as well as my gamma Dante. “I’m so starved!”
“Same!” I whisper back, and we both giggle!
