“That was really fun,” I tell Dougy truthfully during the trip back to Emerald Pack, which was a little over an hours drive from The Summit. “I really appreciate that you took me on the black run three times this afternoon! It was very generous, thank you!”
We had stayed until just after 3:00, hoping to get back home before sundown. It had been a magical afternoon, skiing with Dougy and Robbie. Each time we went down the black run Dougy became just a little more adventurous, picking up the pace. It had been a wild ride!
