Izzy’s POV
It’s so wonderful to have my sister Jan here by my side, just like old times! Although the prospect of us both becoming mothers so soon to litters of multiple pups is a new and scary thing for both of us.
“Dougy said in the car that you’re expecting FIVE pups!” Jan exclaims when I squeeze myself onto the bed beside her to chat. “Was that a joke, or something?”
“I really wish it were,” I admit ruefully. “But it’s the truth, and I certainly don’t find it at all funny!”
“And I thought getting knocked up with twins by that asshole Prince Theodor was bad,” Jan continues to console me in the worst possible way. But that’s what sisters are for, right? “You having quintuplets is going to be INSANE! You know that, right?”
“Yeah! I know,” I reply, glad to have someone to talk
