Izzy’s POV
Just before we get off the link train in the University district, King Stephan begins to act very oddly. It was like a mixture of elation, disbelief, and nausea, like he was about to faint, throw up, and dance a jig all at the same time!
“I don’t know what’s come over me just now,” he says, his voice faint. “I feel so strange!”
“Help me get him off this train,” Beta Oliver begs, and it was pretty obvious that Stephan wasn’t going to be able to help himself very effectively. Dante immediately steps in to help, since there’s no way I’d be able to help hold up this giant of a Lycan if he really does pass out.
“Let’s get him to a bench,” I suggest, pointing to one that is about 20 feet away in the station. “I’ll call Leo and see if he’ll send us a car.”
