Izzy’s POV
Everyone is so nice to me now that I’m actually starting to feel like I belong here. It’s almost as if the unpleasantness with Uncle Alfie and his branch of the family never even happened. Meanwhile I’ve gotten fairly good at navigating around the castle to the point where it’s starting to feel familiar to me. While Dougy has shown me so many of the beauties of Scotland, and he keeps promising even more and better to come.
I can hardly believe that I’ve already been here for half of my three weeks visit to Scotland! I know now in my heart that I could happily live here forever. I feel more and more like I should just go ahead and declare my intentions to choose Dougy.
But what if he won’t agree to let me go to Greece and Romania if I do?
