Izzy’s POV
“Is everything OK between you and Dougy?” Leo asks me before he, Amy, Alex, and the officers they brought with them head outside for the pack run.
“Why do you ask?” I evade answering.
“Jan said something during dinner about the two of you having a big fight,” Amy says, a look of concern on her face.
I give Jan an angry look, and she hides herself behind Amy with a barely audible “sorry”.
“Ugh,” I can’t help but exclaim. “It’s just that earlier I was casually mentioning to my mate how I was really looking forward to this ceremony tonight to get ideas for our own ceremony next year, right?”
“Sure,” Amy replies, nodding in agreement. “That’s perfectly reasonable. Why should that cause a big fight?”
