I look back at the house. Is Lilith inside there right now? Should I go talk to her? I heard the boy call someone ‘gran’. That is most likely the farmers wife, Lilith’s mother. Cara McKay, if memory serves me right. Her husband was called Ruben McKay. It’s all coming back to me now.
Should I talk with the boy? He would probably be able to tell me where Lilith is, so that I might discuss this situation with her. Yes, I need to talk with her! Ask her why she didn’t tell me she was pregnant! With my child!
Obviously I can’t take Lilith as my mate now. She’s human. And I have Isabelle now! And besides all that, she was married and happy, according to her father.
