Someone may ask, how can i feel that there is God? How do I know that there is God?. Some being more confident and persistent could say" provide me with substantial evidence ". Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to say that asking questions and getting answers to those questions are wrong, but frankly speaking, there are things our mind can't fully understand in this mortal body. Our senses are limited. And even the Scientist hypothesize some of their findings, some are theoretical, but none is CONCLUSIVE. Let's take the Dark Planet and Dark Star for example. Science hasn't yet discovered what these space objects are. There are still on the verge of sorting it out. What I'm I trying to say?, SCIENCE HAS IT OWN LIMITATIONS. EVERYTHING IN THIS MORTAL WORLD HAS IT OWN LIMIT. If one tries to exceed that Limit, one will END UP BREAKING APART. That's where Faith comes in.
WHAT IS FAITH?
According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Faith Is a supernatural Gift of God which enables us to believe without doubting whatever God has revealed. Why doubt God?, is ur because we don't get to see him?. Let me give you a tip, to find God, find yourself. Reclaim yourself from the Devil. Get rid of distractions. It's when you are in the process of doing all this that you will get to realize that you can't do it alone. You see yourself going deeper into your vomit. You feel desolated and thoughts of suicide flashes on your mind. You feel alone. The whole world seems bitter to you. You try to scale through alone, but all to no avail. Then one day you feel this joy and peace and in that spirit of consolation you pray to your Father in Heaven with Faith. I assure you strength from above will be given you. You are now Free. But being free is one thing, Staying Free is Another thing. So therfore, the fight for your Freedom continues. Darkness wants to CAPTURE YOU BACK, BUT ARE YOU GONNA LET IT HAPPEN?. Rise up and Raise up your armor of Faith and fight the battle for your Soul. Accompanied with good works and Hope.
But how do I have faith in God?
I will answer this question with a question: how do you trust your friends?. What inclined you to trust your friends? Was it a one day something?. It took days, months, and even years right?. IF WE ARE TOO CAREFUL TO PUT OUR TRUST IN FALLIBLE MORTAL BEINGS, WHY NOT TRY PLACING OUR TRUST ON THE INFALLIBLE GOD?. He can never fail or disappoint us. As real and Solid friendships goes through trails and hard times, so the same thing goes for one's relationship with God. It solidifies with the passage of time encompassing us in the Grace and Love of our Lord Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. But the question remains : "where should i start from knowing God?". I will also answer these question with a question : how do we get to know our human friends?. Through dialogue right?. But how can we dialogue with someone we have no trust in?. That's where faith comes in again. We come to God in dialogue through Faith. Ans to receive that gift of Faith from God, we have to read about God in the Holy Scriptures. We learn who God is, how God is and his Love for us all. "How God is"?, that's impossible to find on the Outside. But as one gets deeper into the Spirit, one's Spiritual eyes began to open. Ignatian Spirituality calls these eye, "THE EYE OF THE SOUL". One not only sees things on the surface, but now sees all things as an ILLUSION. "THIS TOO SHALL PASS", that's their Spoken word. Life troubles waves at them but never sinks their boat for the Divine Master is onboard with them. This is Faith in Action. One now understands the Universe in a new and different way. "Wondrous will be if Reason has it first foundation on Faith, before seeking for More KNOWLEDGE. Life on Earth will be much easier all for the Sustainabity of the Human race" . Faith preceding Reason poseseses in itself a lot of benefit for the individual person and for his fellow Earthlings. " WE all have one Origin and One End. So What good would dissociation do us?. We were given these Planet Earth as a gift from God, and so therfore given the task of protecting it" . What's the use of the science of the Modern Civilization if it isn't used for the Purpose of serving humanity. If the Planet Earth ends up getting destroyed due to one man's lack of care, will that one man and indeed all who participated in his evil plot have someone else to run to. Even if they did, remember the saying "NO PLACE LIKE HOME". This calls for A MORE Cooperative Effort and Unison among all those who are most especially concerned and indeed all Mankind. "For every small act matters. Contribute to the safety of our Planet Earth in your own Little way and trust me you will surely reap the fruit". Let us therfore imitate Those who have gone before us, but whose Great Minds has shaped Western thoughts and Plilosophy. Let us therefore have in our minds the likes of Clavius, a Jesuit Priest, who was also a Scientist. He was a man of humility and Science. His love for Science corresponded with the LOVE OF GOD. It should be known that he was the one who formulated the Gregorian calendar under the commission of Pope Gregory XIII. He soared high and had high dreams. He was a man of vision. Before the Gregorian Calendar was Formulated, the Julian Calandar was in use. It had been in use for centuries. It was formulated by Julius Ceasar. But it had some discrepancies. Pope Gregory XIII observed this discrepancy and assigned Clavius to the task of correcting this abnormaly. And he did so. He had a student named Galileo Galilee who challenged him on grounds of the movement of the Earth around the Sun. Clavius humbly accepted the inaccuracy of his findings and that act alone paved way for peaceful coexistence between the two and for the increase of knowledge . If you were Clavius, how would you have reacted?. Another excellent example of Faith blending Reason is that of St. Thomas Aquinas. He was a Theologian. His thirst for knowledge and the unknown was insatiable. Do you know that his Parents tried to dissuade him from fulfilling his desire to serve God as a Priest? But he persevered by the Grace of Almighty God. According to legend, a woman was sent to lure him into s****l sin, but he stood on his ground and never succumbed to her charms and won against her charms and wits by the Grace of Almighty God. One of his best works are the Summa Theologica and the Summa Contra Gentiles, among his other intellectual works. He was a man of integrity. Interesting right?. Now let's talk about the Stoics. Who were they? Stoics are individuals who believe on the principle set down by STOIC PHILOSOPHY . THEY lay more emphasis on logos (Reason), and the Simplicity of Life. They believe in a quiet and peaceful world, focusing our thoughts on the Present, without unnecessarily worrying about the future. They believe in the Power of Silence and Solitude and the practice of regularly disconnecting. Marcus Aurelius, the Philosopher - King is a Stoic, he was a leader in the Roman World. Others are Epictetus, Plato, Leonardo de Vinci etc. Here are some of their Famous Quotes
Inspirational Quotes
1. "Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants." - Epictetus
2. "The greatest wealth is to live content with little." - Plato
3. "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." - Leonardo da Vinci
These were Simple Men who contributed their quota to the Society. They weren't Christians at the "Surface", but I believe they were in the Heart. Heart?, yes!. Their actions spoke for them and many people today look up to them. But they weren't without any flaws. They too had their own misgivings. They weren't perfect and so should not be treated as SUCH. "NO ONE IS INDEED PERFECT"
There were so many of these Great Men who blended Faith with Science and the names I will be listing Down in these book are only but a few of them, just a tip of the iceberg. The breakdown are as follows :
Here's a list of influential scientists who blended faith with science:

Their positive impact has gone wide and near and future generations will continue to have their name on their lips, and even if they tend to forget about them, History Will and Can Never Forget them. It has been written already on the Mind of History. And by God's grace I believe they are at Peace in the After Life. We are thereby encouraged dear readers to imbibe Science with Virtue. For in that way our World will be much Safer and better protected.
Now Back to Marcus Aurelius
Marcus Aurelius was a Stoic Philosopher and Roman Emperor(161-180AD). During his Reign as Emperor Christians faced persecution, but his role in these state of Christian persecution was complex. But among the Stoic principle is the Act of Tolerance. So it's complex his role in such daunting time for Christians. Did he lay down his Stoic Principles or held fast unto it?. It all remains a mystery of Action up to till day. Him blending faith with Science?. Actually he didn't explicitly blend faith with Science, he actually blended Stoic Philosophy with Reason. Thus laying the ground for Future Apologetics combining Reason with Logic.
Philosophical and Spiritual Integration
1. Reason and spirituality: Aurelius merged logical reasoning with spiritual introspection.
2. Natural law: He saw the universe governed by rational principles.
3. Inner strength: Aurelius emphasized self-control, resilience, and inner peace.
Scientific Influences
1. Stoic cosmology: Aurelius' views on the universe's natural order and balance.
2. Medicine: His interest in physical health and well-being.
3. Astronomy: References to celestial bodies and natural phenomena.
He was indeed a Force to be reckoned with in the School of thought of Stoicism. The principles on Stoicism continue to shape Our World today.
What's the goal of every Religion?, To be free?. To have long life?. To be rich?. All these things could be included, but the most pivotal goal of Religion is Morality.
