Lily looked in the mirror at her friend's image. She looked stunning in a long red floral dress with little makeup on. "I'm so good at it don't you think Avery?" Lily confirmed as she smiled happily and waited for her friend to agree. Avery chuckled a little before nodding her head enthusiastically, "yes, yes you're the best at dressing others up, Lily " Avery agreed as she hugged Lily. She took a quick glance again at her reflection in the mirror and smiled a little. Even though she was smiling she wasn't really happy. She missed Richie and Kiya. Earlier, Adrian had told her that he had sent his man to look after them but it'll take a while before they get any results. It was not easy to search in the forests and the kingdoms around Etheris, she was upset but she had no other option except waiting.
"Let's go" Lily took Avery downstairs and towards the exit. The car was waiting for her at the entrance. She got in carefully and sat down next to Adrian. He was already in the car and Kyle was in the driver's seat. The man ignored her presence as she kept on working on his tablet. Avery was nervous, she was constantly fidgeting with the hem of her dress. She looked out of the window and saw as trees passed by. Where are we going?" She looked at him and asked. Adrian didn't pay much attention to her, there was an uncomfortable silence in the car, Kyle sensed it and tried to lighten up the atmosphere. "We're going to Your Majesty's Parent's house, your highness" Kyle answered respectfully. Avery hasn't met his parents before, not even during the wedding, she didn't even hear of them from anyone till today. Though she wondered about it, she assumed that they're dead but now she knows that it's not the case. Avery whispered okay as looked out of the window again. She was nervous, there was no doubt that this meeting will be anything but normal.
