Chapter 15
"It's so hot today" he whispered as he took another glance at her before moving his attention somewhere else. His face was a bright shade of red. He swallowed hard as he changed into comfortable clothes.
In the morning, the sunlight shone inside the room peeping from between the curtain gaps. Avery moved uncomfortably in her place as the rays hit her face, Adrian was a light sleeper, he was almost awake from her movements. He noticed her being comfortable and put his hand over her face to protect her eyes from sunlight. Her movements seemed to have stopped as she took a peaceful nap.
After what seemed like an eternity, her eyes fluttered open, Adrian was also almost sleepy but he was laying in an awkward position. Avery looked at him and then at his hand. He was trying to not let the sunlight hamper her sleep? Why would he?
"Adrian…"she whispered sweetly like a bird. He was almost startled and withdrew his hand in a hurry. She chuckled lightly before her gaze fell on his naked chest. He was only in his pajamas! She frantically scanned herself…..she didn't remember changing clothes last night. Did he? Did something happen between them? "Ahhh…..What did you do to me?" Avery yelled as she almost pushed the man off the bed on the ground.
