"You're not joking?" Avery's eyes widened as she seemed to have made sense of everything. The man was indifferent, A bunch of kids were playing not too far from where he was. He made his way over to them "What are you playing, Kids?" His smile was so gentle as he talked to them unlike his cold and scary demeanor with her earlier. "We're trying to shift and fly, Mr. King" the kids were pretty young and innocent, they called him Mr. King instead of Your majesty, he liked it. He saw someone who wasn't afraid of him after so long. He ruffled their head and offered "Do you want to see me shift and fly?"
The kids nodded their heads excitedly as they clapped and jumped. "Let's go the closest mountain"
Adrian headed towards the mountain with the children. Avery didn't know if she should wait or go back so she decided to follow him. After all she should see what she signed up for. Avery wasn't scared of this place but it was something new to her, she was curious, it would have been much better if Richie and Kiya could have seen these things. At the thought of them, a tinge of sadness crawled to Avery's heart.
