After a hectic day, Adrian returned back to his room finally. It was really busy as he had important matters to tend to. Over the past few days, he has been busy with the matters related to Avery so he barely had time to handle other stuff. Adrian changed into a pair of t-shirt and pajamas after he took a shower. He was indifferent as usual and worked on his tablet. He looked around but couldn't find Avery anywhere.

'Where is that woman now?' He wondered as he worked for a few more minutes, his gaze loitering around the door waiting for her. Just as he was about to get up and look for her, she came to the room like a thief. "Where were you, woman?" The dominant voice reached her ears as she squinted her eyes and looked at the man slowly. Turning around carefully as she plastered a fake smile on her face. "You're here?" she asked sweetly, pretending as if nothing happened. After Adrian had gone to work, she had actually sneaked outside the castle. Lily reminded her that it was strictly prohibited for her to go out of the castle but she was too bored and also wanted to find clues to find Richie and Kiya. She actually has broken rules set by this man who was standing in front of her. "Don't cross question and answer me" the man looked at her frustrated and coldly. "I was in the garden taking a walk" she lied as she wasn't able to meet his eyes and looked elsewhere. She was terrible at lying. "I was in the garden earlier but I didn't see you" the man's initial gentle gaze turned cold too. She wasn't any different, she dared lie to him, in her dreams!
