Chapter 34
Avery and Lily moved cautiously through the dimly lit corridor, it looked much more ancient than other part of palace, the corridor was lit by candlelight and the walls were adorned with old tattered tapestries and the path seemed to wind deeper into the palace, far away from the familiar areas they have explored before, the atmosphere grew increasingly eerie, Avery couldn't help but shudder from the fear. It felt as if they were entering a forbidden part of the palace.
"I think we have entered the red zone," Lily whispered seriously.
"Red zone? What do you mean?" Avery turned her head and looked at Lily waiting for her reply.
Lily hesitated for a moment before speaking up "His Majesty had a fiancee before he got married"
