"Do you know Tisha, Avery?" Lily questioned looking in Avery's eyes. She was worried for her friend. "She's coming here for a few days regarding some official matters" Lily took Avery's hand in her hands as she spoke. Avery could understand why Lily was so worried, Lily came to know over the past few days that Tisha holds unreciprocated feelings for Adrian and she didn't seem like a nice person when she had met her before during the wedding. "I don't think she'll be nice to you" Lily was really worried that Avery would be bullied. "Don't worry, Lily. If she creates trouble for us. I'll make sure she regrets visiting Adrian" Avery smirked devilishly, she's not in debt to anyone, she definitely wouldn't tolerate any misbehavior towards herself.
That night, when Avery came into the room. She was surprised to find two beds in the room. The bed they earlier shared was replaced by a new king size bed and at another corner of the room, there was a single bed where her stuff was neatly arranged.
When Adrian returned to his room, he took a glance around before he happily went to take a shower ignoring the woman sitting on the couch completely. Avery was extremely baffled, she didn't mind sleeping on another bed in fact she was going to ask him for that but why did he replace the bed they shared? Did he think of her as dirty or what? she'll definitely ask him today! He can't be so disrespectful towards her.
