348 Words
On the day of the exam,Layla was completely shocked when she saw Favour sitting in front of her during the exam. It took her by surprise, but she decided to brush it off and focus on her writing. But then things got even more interesting when Favour called Esther for the answer to a question. Layla couldn't help but feel a pang of loneliness, wishing she had a friend to talk to. After the first paper, Layla was heading to class when she witnessed Favour and Esther bullying Precious for not giving them any answers. Layla wanted to help, but Precious rejected her assistance, feeling too embarrassed to be seen in that situation. So, Layla turned away directly and then she found out that after she left them, Favour and Esther both directed their anger towards Precious, constantly picking fights with her. Layla couldn't help but ask herself, "Am I not supposed to feel happy about this? Why do I feel so sad?" Layla returned home feeling unsettled, and her Aunt noticed her unease. Concerned, her Aunt asked her what had happened, and Layla poured her heart out, sharing everything that had been going on at school since she started. Her Aunt listened attentively and offered some words of wisdom, saying, "Don't have any regrets about what you want to do, my dear. Follow your heart and trust your instincts." Layla felt a mix of bitterness and determination as she contemplated her Aunt's advice. Deep in thought, Layla realized that she couldn't ignore her desire to help Precious. She understood that standing up against the mistreatment was the right thing to do, even if it meant facing challenges along the way. With renewed determination, Layla decided to take action and find a way to support Precious. As Layla continued to reflect on her Aunt's words, she felt a sense of empowerment. She knew that by following her own convictions, she could make a positive impact and create a better environment for everyone involved. Layla was ready to face the obstacles ahead and make a difference in Precious life.
