Cat's POV I didn’t reply, but closed my eyes as well, trying to focus everything I had on Luka, searching for the entrance to his mind. I easily found his emotions. Hell, they were so obvious I could taste them. He was nervous, but mostly he was afraid. He wasn’t sure if getting into contact with his wolf was a good thing and again, I felt that strong protective instinct I also had felt with his wolf before. I took that as a good sign. At least they had that in common. They were both fierce protectors and perhaps I could use that to unite them. If I ever figured out what the hell I was doing that is… I concentrated on the box I’d seen in Luka’s mind before, and suddenly I felt the need to open my eyes. To my surprise, it worked! I was back in the box, and it hadn’t even taken that long
