“Catelyn?” Dad frowned, not understanding--- until it suddenly hit him. “That Catelyn?! Willa’s and Vic’s missing daughter?”
He glanced between Mom and Mouse a couple of times – enough to make my wolf want to growl and I pulled her closer to my body. My wolf was extremely protective of her right now, and I didn’t have the energy to fight him. Or I didn’t want to, I wasn’t entirely sure. All I knew was that in a short period of time I’d nearly lost my mate and baby one too many times…
“Who’s Catelyn?” LJ sounded confused but kept his gaze on Mouse.
“Me,” she offered herself up for explanation, even going so far as to raise her hand. “Long story short, I was kidnapped by psycho moms who have taken over your pack.”
