You see – I knew that Lauran would be too smart to confess everything right off the bat and Susann was too stupid for Lauran not to be keeping an extra good eye on her.
But Jack was her weakness!
Now, did I feel bad for using her son against her? No! Did that make me a bad person? Perhaps! Did I give a f**k either way?

Jack snarled, but the second he turned to me his eyes widened in horror.
